Courtney's POV:

The plans all went well and now it was the day of the wedding. I had gotten Sicheng's parents to love me and the girl he was to marry to hate me even more. Kun had become one of my close friends in the process of it all and I was grateful for his help. But there was doubt in me, what if I couldn't go through with the final plan? What if it put Sicheng or his family in trouble? I would regret it for the rest of my life?

Even after all of the words Sicheng had said to me and all of the sneaking around, the secret makeout sessions and sex, I still wondered if he really wanted me to be his and risk everything. However, I could see it in his eyes how much be disliked the girl he was to marry. Kun helped me find some stylist to find me a beautiful dress and shoes and people to do my hair and makeup as well. My goal was to outshine the bride and get Sicheng's attention. He hadn't talked to me at all the past few days and I felt that things might not end well between us and this might have been for nothing.

"Wow, you look beautiful. Sicheng would have to be stupid to not pick you." Kun said. "Stop flattering me Qian Kun." I laughed. I stood up and looked in the mirror, trying to mentally prepare myself. I put on my chef coat to hide myself a bit more since I was afterall, still the caterer.

Finally, it was time for the wedding, I motioned to Kun who was the best man and he let me know that the actual wedding was about to start. I stepped away from the table of food and prepared as the music started. I saw Sicheng walk out, looking more handsome as ever, as if it was even possible. The way he looked making my heart flutter. I sighed as I realized that this whole plan may be for nothing as he hadn't talked to me in a few days. Soon the bride to be walked out and I skowled as everyone looked at her in awe while she walked down the aisle with her father.

Sicheng looked at her as she walked, trying to make himself seem pleased. I could tell from here he wasn't happy. She stood up next to him and smiled a fake smile. I hid myself from the crowd and waited for my moment. As the man began to speak and the two gave their vows, I noticed a familiar face in the crowd. I was taken aback for a moment as I thought I was just imagining things. But no it was true, it was Xiao Ying, my psycho ex boyfriend. "What the fuck is he doing here?" I said to myself as he looked around.

I tried to forget about him and stick to my plan. As soon as I was about to move, I suddenly felt a hand on my arm. I looked over to see Xiao Ying standing right beside me. "Hello darling." He said. "Get off of me." I said, shaking myself from his grip. "Oh come on baby. You know you missed me." He said. I rolled my eyes and focused on what I really wanted to know. "Why the fuck are you here anyways?" I said. "The bride to be, she is my childhood best friend." He said. "Makes sense." I said rolling my eyes.

"And I know just why you're here love. The groom is that guy you fucked and are still hung on right? Tell me I'm wrong but are you here to even try to do anything? Why would he pick you? He is a wealthy guy who just had a hard on for any girl he could find to be with." He said, making me smack him in the face. "He isn't like that." I said angrily. "You're delusional." He said. He put his hand on my arm again and tried to pull me back into one of the rooms. "I won't let any other man have you anyways. You won't be able to do anything to stop the wedding." He said as he began pulling me back.

I quickly kneed him in the groan and made a run for it, just in time. "I object!" I yelled. Everyone looked at me in shock, including Sicheng as Kun smiled. "The caterer has lost her mind, let's just get this over with." I heard the girl say. "The truth is, I am not just some girl. I happen to be a girl who cares so much for Sicheng and would rather die than to see him unhappy. We fell in love one night months ago, he made me feel loved like I never had before...i'm not even a fucking caterer this was just all so I could be here for this moment. I am here to hope the man I care deeply for will choose happiness over business. Dong Sicheng, I love you and I always will." I said.

Everyone remained shocked in their seats as they tried to process what I had said. "Nonsense. Sicheng, she has to be out of her mind..she is just jealous of me." The girl said, grabbing Sicheng's shoulder and trying to make him look at her. He couldn't take his eyes off of me as everyone awaited his response. "It's true. Courtney is the one I truly love. This whole thing was just a business move and a way to keep me from being with the woman I want to be with. I'm sorry but this wedding is over." He said, standing up for himself.

The girl stormed off as her father chased after her along with Xiao Ying and her family sighed and began to leave. I ran quickly into his arms and felt his lips against mine as he held my tight. We kissed for what seemed like ages until we heard someone clear their throat.
