Fin was laying down on the long chair, napping away the hours with the cool air, blowing through the small room. The train suddenly came to a stop making him roll off the chair.[Thud]
Fin: (He got up in surprise looking around frantically)
Conductor: "The Voodoo lands express has arrived to your destination. Please carefully exit and to watch your step while getting off."
Fin: "Oh." (He lifts up his bag to his shoulders and slides the door open, getting off the train)He walks forward to only see a full festival unfolding in front of him. The sound of music and laughter filling the air, the town's people celebrating a holiday most likely. But there wasn't much time for that, he had to head to The Voodoo lands forest and catch some jellyfish for back home.
Fin: (He pulls out a map that the lady in the cafe gave him, he just had to continue walking straight and spot a statue, then go to the left from the seems of it. He puts it away and continues walking.)
Some of the kids were chasing each other with different colored lanterns or making some on their own and the adults were drinking or eating even performing, telling legends of their land. The town was colorful with lights, and people wearing bright costumes or robes with floral patterns and more. It was very different from how they celebrated when the year is coming to an end. In The Golden Token you would most likely go out to see the fireworks, that was really it. He never seen anything like this before, maybe if he had enough time, he can try to celebrate with them.
He continues walking and the music getting quieter as he's go further away from the town. Spotting a stone statue of a lady in a robe while holding a parasol with her eyes closed. She was very detailed even the flowers were carved into the robe but there was some green moss growing on the statue's shoes.
Fin: (He looks to his left seeing a small entry into the forest. Having low lit candle lanterns on the sides of a bridge to cross. He continues by jogging into the forest.) "The moon hasn't fully raised yet. I still have time."
The trees were tall enough to level buildings and the dirt trail slowly losing its pathing making it harder to follow. The map isn't helping either only showing trees and a small river. He turned around and he wasn't able to see the bright town behind him. It only felt like he took two steps into the forest.
Fin: "How?!-" (Shortly saying that he slipped rolling down the steep hill, going into grass, rocks, plants. He finally stopped by landing in a shallow river growing a couple water lilies. Getting his stuff and clothes wet.) "Ughh..." (He groans in pain a little and gets up, he was surprised to see that the river he landed in was most likely the river on the map)
He tried taking it out but it was soaked smudging the ink.
Fin: "Damn it..." *But if he follows it, it could lead up to the pond filled with Moonlight Jellyfish.*
Welp I'm now sleeping, remember to watch where you're going.
