Chise

Chise yawned as she slowly stirred from her sleep. she got up and opened her window, seeing a swarm of Cotton flies outside she made a mental note that it was sheering time. she got dressed and scratched Ruth on his head. her familiar opened one eye and huffed "Let me sleep in Chise"  before closing his eye again. Chise laughed

"I'm sure Silver has made Breakfast by now" she said laughing again as her familiar stood up and hopped off of her bed, racing out of the door. Chise smiled as she made her way downstairs, the smell of silvers amazing cooking drawing her to the kitchen. she sat down at the table and laughed as she saw Ruth devouring his food, now in his human form. Elias sighed and Chise looked at him.

"Ruth cant you eat a little slower? and less messily?" he asked as he flicked a piece of food off of the white tablecloth covering the table. to this Ruth just scowled and began to eat again. silver brought Chise her food and she thanked her before beginning to eat.

"Elias?"

"hmm?'

"It looks like its time to sheer the Cotton flies" said Chise. Elias turned away from his food and looked outside

"hmm, I suppose it is" he remarked before looking back at her. even though he had a skull for a face, she knew him well enough to know that he was smiling. after they finished eating, Silver came and collected their plates. Ruth shifted back into his Church grim form and went outside to start herding the Cotton flies so that Elias and Chise could sheer them. after everything was done for the day and the sun began to set, Chise sat in Elias's lap, admiring the sights on a small hill near the Mage's country home. she sighed wistfully and blushed as Elias nuzzled her with the side of his skull. she looked up at him and stroked his horns as she nestled into his chest, still in his lap. (ok if you haven't watched the anime, look at the cover photo) she sighed once more, These are the days she thought These happy days, the days I get to spend with him
