Chise

     When I woke up again, it was quiet. Elias was gone but Ruth was snuggled up beside me. I yawned and sat up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes as Ruth sat up as well. His sharp canines showing and tongue lolling out as he also yawned.

      "Ruth, what happened?" I asked.

       "Well, after you fell asleep Elias Kicked your father out of the house. He let Fumiki stay because he didn't know what was going on, But had your dad go take a walk and cool down. Silkie was basically guarding Fumiki," he replied, yawning again as he did. I nodded and began to get out of bed and walked towards the dresser. Opening up the drawer designated for my clothing and getting dressed. When I was done I nodded to Ruth and began walking downstairs, now armed with the knowledge that my little Brother was downstairs. I nervously fiddled with my ring as I entered the kitchen, Elias was sitting in his usual seat, staring at my brother and seeming to study him. Meanwhile Fumiki looked uncomfortable and squirmed in his gaze. I laughed loudly, the noise causing both boys to look at me while Silkie continued to cook.

       "Elias, your making Fumiki uncomfortable," I began, slowly walking over and putting my hand on the young boy's shoulder, he looked at me confused before I continued. "The humans who know you understand your actions and your calculating stares, However Fumiki just met you yesterday," Elias nodded, putting his hand underneath his boney jaw in thought before turning to my brother.

       "Ah, I apologize Fumiki, I am still learning the ways of Humans, however your sister has been a wonderful teacher" he said. I blushed a bit at the praise and nervously laughed, my gaze drifting to my little brother, confusion on his face for a few moments before realization dawned on him and he gaped silently at me. I smiled softly and reached down to tenderly hug him, tears in my eyes as he clutched onto me desperately. He began to cry, and then his cry's turned into sobs as he clutched onto me so hard I thought he would hurt himself. Elias made a noise of concern at seeing my tears, as well as my brother full on sobbing, but I just gave him a tear-filled smile. Ruth came up and rubbed himself against us both and I softly smiled at him, he was like an older brother to me after all. I pulled away from Fumiki and softly wiped away his tears before Silkie handed him a tissue to blow his nose. I have Ruth a mischievous look before grinning at my little brother.

       "Fumiki," I began, "This is Ruth, Our older brother," Ruth looked at me with stars in his eyes as he transformed and received a hug from Fumiki as well. Once we were done me and Ruth also sat down for breakfast, Silkie deserved it to us before long and we thanked her before beginning to eat. Eventually though, I noticed my little brother casting curious glances at me and Elias as we talked. "Is there something wrong, Fumiki?" I asked

       "Uhm....No-but..... Are you two like, Together?"

HOLY CRAP IM DONE! JESUS ITS BEEN A LITERAL YEAR! I AM SO SORRY!!!! I lost inspiration, I guess being up at 6am is good enough inspiration...  I hope you are all doing well! Also a short chapter is better than nothing man I'm determined to finish this story wether I'm inspired or not. So sorry if future chapters seem more forced!
