Dear beloved,
You were the epitome of my life,
Your beautiful eyes,
Coruscating hazel lights.
Every time you were near,
I would go florid;
To my heart you were dear,
Why did you leave me downhearted?
The day we met,
The crowd was bustling;
And you made a bet,
Among all the hustling.
I was at the top of blithe,
When you asked for a date;
But I was in writhe,
Since you were running late.
Fast-forward, a few years now,
The love we had, boundless to bow;
We met again, I don't know-how,
But I had to run away, darling ciao.
You followed me
In that brisk walk of yours;
But so did she,
So I hid behind closed doors.
It's empirical, how I feel;
After all these years,
I don't seem to heal,
Coming alive are all my fears.
My actions were ethical,
But you were opposed;
It was aestival,
Like back when you left me disposed.
Now I may seem obsolete,
With no love to give;
No matter how much you treat me sweet,
Leave me, my life is mine to live.
As I turn around,
These tears are torrential;
Never to be found,
Keep this confidential.
