In the flurry of people,
You were right there.
Your eyes were iridescent,
It was hard to pretend.
I was a nervous wreck,
Your arms wreathed around me.
Your voice so clarion,
It was just meant to be.
A century and forevermore,
With you I want to spend.
A celebration every day,
Auspicious day my friend.
Ups and downs,
No matter what.
Will resolve without a frown,
Don't be a peanut.
There was a tenuous space,
Yet you renewed me.
Your smile so lambent,
You,it's all I see.
