Wall?! Ch.6

Y/N's pov.

I walk out of the bathroom in a towel, and head to my bedroom.
"Natsu! You're not in my room are you?" I call out to him.  His head pokes around the corner.
"Nope, but I'm going to wake up Happy and Dashi. Hurry up and get ready! We have to go soon!" He tells me.
I run to my room and throw open my closet doors. I pull out and pair of tight black leggings and a f/c sweatshirt. I pull them on quickly and grab my Converse. I pull my hair up into a messy bun and run out the door. Natsu's eyes widen when he sees me burling towards him.
"Did you already brush your teeth!? How did you get done so fast?" He asks me, as I'm putting the donuts in a portable tin. "I did that when I got out of the shower. Are my babies ready to go?" I glance around for them. Dashi climbs of the sofa and floats into my arms. "I'm right here." She tells me, pulling herself to my shoulders.
"Let's go!" I grab the donuts and my bag and head out the door, Natsu and Happy following close behind.

We reach the guild and I kick open the doors. I run to the quest board, yelling out my greetings and ignoring the complaints about my noise level. I scan the quests and grab a couple of them. I walk to a table and lay them across the top.
"Mira!" I call over to her. She hears me and walks over with a blindfold.
"You know what, Y/n? You're the only one actually awake this early in the morning." She mumbles to me, handing me the blindfold and a cup of coffee. I smile at her and thank her for the coffee.
I turn to Natsu and hand him my blindfold. I turn around for him to tie it across my face. I feel his fingers softly brushing my hair from my forehead. A shiver runs down my spine as he pulls the cloth across my eyes. I turn back to the table and place my hands on the top. I take a deep breath and place my finger on a random one. I take off the blindfold and examine our quest. Hmm, that's a decent amount of jewels. Seems easy enough.
I hand Natsu the paper for him to read and then I set out to find Gray and Erza. I quickly find Gray sitting down on a bench by himself. I sit next to him and whisper in his ear.
"Are you aware you are being stalked by a girl with blue curls?"
He grunts and turns to the girl. "Juvia, come and meet Y/n!" He calls out to her.
Juvia flushes and practically runs to Gray's side.
"Oh, Hello Juvia! I'm Y/N, What type of mage are you?"
She blushes deeper, and mumbles, "Juvia is a water mage." She leans over and whispers in Gray's ear. "Juvia thinks Y/N-san might be Gray-sama's girlfriend? Is Juvia Correct?"
Gray flushes and stutters, "N-No, She's not my girlfriend." Then he turns to me, "Did you need me for something?"
I stare at him blankly, and then it hits me. "Oh, yeah! Go meet Natsu, I chose a quest! Go meet Dashi at the table over there." He gets up from his seat and walks off to find Natsu.

I start to look around for Erza when I realize that she's probably on the second floor. I smirk as I sneak my way to the stairs and start my journey upward. My ninja skills were developed as a child when I used to sneak up here all the time. I tip-toe along the boards, making absolutely no noise. Step after step, I'm almost there when suddenly I smack into a hard wall.
What the hell? Who the heck put a wall there?
I look up to see a black, jacket like thing. I crane my neck to see higher, and I'm shocked to see electric blonde hair and peircing black eyes. Okay, hold on. Back it up. Who put the incredibly hot wall here.
I clear my throat, "Excuse me, Mr. BigMan... If I could just get through here for a second. I need to find Erza." I look up at him, trying to meet his eyes. He leans against the rail and looks me in the eye.
"And who might you be? Not just anyone can come up here." He says, snarky.
I snort at him, and lean against the railing too. I smirk at him "Who are you? The clubhouse bodyguard? Making sure no weaklings get in?"
He smirks back, "It's my job to keep weaklings out of this guild. Perhaps I can show you the door." I laugh, smirking at him. I could do this all day.
"Maybe you should help yourself out the door. It's over there." I say waving in the general direction. I sigh, "As much fun as this is arguing with you and all, I need to find Erza. Just tell her that Y/n needs her. At least she has some manners."
He lets out a shocked breath. He looks around wildly, "Y/n? Where?"
I frown and ask, "You know Y/n?"
His eyes land on me, "Yeah, we basically grew up together. Are you sure she's here?"
I study his face closer. My gaze catches on the scar on his eyebrow. Just like a lightning bolt. My breath hitches, "L-Laxus?"
He sweat drops at me, "Duh, how do you not kno- Y/n? Is that you?"
I nod my head slowly, tears brimming my eyes. His arms wrap around me and he pulls me close. I take a deep breath and inhale his scent.
"My god, Sparky, how did you not recognize me?" I complain, thumping his chest.
He chuckles softly and releases me from his grasp. "Let me look at you," he says, eyes bouncing up and downy body, "Damn Sparkles... You don't look the same at all. No wonder I didn't recognize you. You have no excuse for not being able to recognize me."
I smile at my old nickname. "Well, Sparky. You're HUGE. What has Gramps ben feeden ya? Hold on let me guess... steroids with a side of 'I never skip leg days'. No wonder I didn't recognize YOU! But you are right, for once. I should have recognized your agressivness and sarcasm."
He smirks and pulls me in again. "Damn, I really missed you, Sparkles. You need to tell me what happened. What's your good excuse for leaving me with all these idiots?" He exclaims waving his hand in Natsu's general direction.
"Huh, well... that's a long story that you can ask Gramps to tell you. I need to find Erza anyway." I try to nudge my way out of his arms. Damn, why do they have to be the legit size of telephone poles. How much can he bench press?
"Where the hell do you think you're going? You're telling me everything. Erza can wait until later." He tells me.
I look up at him and glare. "I'm not going to be the one to tell Erza that. You know how she gets. I'm busy, maybe another time."
His facial expression turns into one of sadness and almost remorse. "Please, Y/n. I deserve to know."
I release a defeted sigh and nod my head. He smiles and grabs my hand. He leads me to the lounge area and sets me down beside him. I settle into my seat and look him in the eyes. "Well, do you remember whe-"

"Damn, Sparkles, why didn't you tell me? Maybe I could have helped. That's not something that you should have gone through alone... I thought that I was supposed to be there for you. And you're supposed to be here for me." He said grabbing my hands and pulling closer to him. "We're supposed to be here for each other. You left me alone with Evergreen and them. They follow me around, calling themselves the Thunder Legion." He crinkles his nose at me.
I burst out laughing, "Isn't that what you always wanted. Someone to cherish the ground you walk on, message you sore muscles, deliver your steroids... Need I carry on? Oh, and let me guess.... You're the Thunder God?"
He swoops me of the couch and dangles me from the balcony.
I leach to his arm and glare up at him, "Laxus, I swear if you drop me, I'm going to be so pissed. You'll never see the light of day again. I'll even break your precious headphones."
His eyes widen for a split second, but quickly settles into a scowl. "Really, Sparkles? Now is not the time to be making threats. Just wait until I-" "Laxus, what the hell is Y/n doing dangling from the balcony?" He turns his head to see Gramps, looking pissed off.
"Y/n? She's taking in the veiw. A little payback for what she did to me...Why? Did we wake you?" He replies, sassy.
I take this second to lick Laxus's arm to get him to release me.
"Ew, what the hell?" He yells and lets go of me. His eyes widen and he realizes his mistake around the same time I realize mine.
