Did We Win?! Ch. 19

I was running through the forest and I come across a girl dragging the black haired man through the woods. I see Gray pressed against a tree with an expression of shock on his face. He doesn't see me.
I press further against the tree and follow her. Gray grunts in pain and looks at his hand. What's going on with him? Is that a chain around his wrist?  He grips his chest and almost doubles over in pain. He drops to the ground and grips his thigh. Tears run down his face and then I noticed the woman standing behind him.
"Gray." She says, "I've always wanted to meet you. Never fear, I'm on your side."
He stares at her and shock and recognition flashes in his eyes. They talk about some named Ur and Gray seems mad. Isn't Ur that name of his old master?  I see a flash and then the ground rumbles underneath my feet. The tree in the center on the island began to shake and it falls over. I instantly feel my power draining and I almost collapsed on the ground.
After a couple of minutes I feel a little bit my magic rushing back to my body. It starts to pour and I'm quickly soaked in rain. I see flashes of light and explosion. I take off running in that direction. I'm sorry Gray. You'll have to handle her by yourself.

I run across everyone in the forest. The are all huddled together and I hear Natsu say, "Let's go beat Hades."
I smile and walk up to them, with Dashi in tow. "Hell yeah! I'm in!" Natsu looks at me, grinning. He throws his head back and screams, "Let's go!"
We all scream with him and take off towards the ship.
When we reach the ship, Hades was already there.
"Now, shall we play? You of the 3rd generation of Fairy Tail." He shouts to us. "Come... Children of Makarov."
Then he turns on his heels and walks away. Natsu throws his arms in the air, "No! You come down here, you bastard!" He turns to us. We make a plan and I leave Tadashi with the rest of the Exceeds. Wendy casts a Troia on me and Nastu, just in case we get motion sickness.

We charge to him, Erza equipped her black Wing: Moon Beam and Gray uses his Cold Excalibur, Lucy brought Taurus out. Wendy boosts everyone's attack, defense, and speed. We attack him, hit after hit, but nothing seems to effect him. He pulls a chain across Erza and Gray and trips them up.
Nastu and I spring in the air and shout, "Sun Dragon's wing attack!" "Fire Dragon's wing attack!"
He easily swings the chain, but Erza cuts it and Gray sends us flying towards Hades. We hit him in the chest and he crashes into another room.
"People often refer to their errors as 'learning experiences.' but true errors never become learning experiences." He says, stepping out of the smoke, unharmed. "The error you committed was to stand against me and you will not have the chance to learn from it. Now... That I'm finished warming up..... Shall be begin?"
We shiver at his words and brace for his next attack.
"Chastise!" He shouts and Wendy disappears, her clothes falling on the ground.
"Wendy!" We shout in unison. "She's gone!"
"I don't believe it!"
"What did you do?!"
All the sudden a clear voice rings out, "Everyone, please calm down. I'm fine. Is what she says."
I stare at the clock on the ceiling, it's Horologium! Wendy drops from the ceiling and we stare down Hades.
"Makarov's children are very amusing." He says.
"So you and the old man know each other?" Natsu asks.
"I was once the second master of Fairy Tail. I went by the name of Precht."
Natsu throws himself at Hades, "You liar!"
"I personally named Makarov as third master of the guild."
"That ain't possible, don't go feeding us lies."
All the sudden an exsplotion shakes the ship and Lucy and Erza are chain together. He shoots through Natsu, Gray, and Wendy just by saying 'bang.' They collapse on the ground, grunting in pain. My eyes stayed glued on Gray's slumped form on the ground in front of me.
A growl erupts within me and my body covers itself in golden scales with black flames-like shadows flickering up and down my body. My eyes glow and my pupil sharpen, my pointed canines become more prominent and my nails sharpen to claws. I growl at him and gather every drop of my energy around me.
I look around at my friends, their bodies thrown across the floor. A smile appears on my face as I look at Hades. "You..." I say, my voice like gravel. "You have made your own fatal error. I can promise you these two things..." I laugh, looking at his shocked exspession. "One! When you mess with MY guild, when you mess with MY family, The last thing you are going to taste is every bit of power I have. The last thing you are going to feel is the bite of my blade. The last thing you are going to hear is my voice. And the last thing you are going to think is 'Damn, maybe I shouldn't have messed with Fairy Tail.' I can also promise you this,... You messed with the wrong guild..."
I pour all my energy into my blade. I charge at him, slicing through his arm. The heat of my blade instantly cauterized the wound. I smile as I dance around him slicing him at random. He is pushed back but my attacks are dealing minimal damage.
I grow desperate and swing my sword at him, furiously. He grabs my arm and throws me against the wall. My body slams against it, and I grunt in pain. My leg is at a unnatural angle and my head spins. It's broken.. and all my energy is gone...
All of the sudden a flash of lightning crashes through the roof.
"So this is the guy that hurt Gramps? The guy that just threw My Sparkles?"
I lift my head and see Laxus standing there is all of his god-like glory. "Laxus!" I called out to him. He turns his head to me and smiles.
"Don't worry, Babygirl. This will be over quickly. I'll be over there soon."
I nod and smile at him, tears streaming down my face. He charges at Hades but Hades flinches backwards.
"You're pathetic! You attack him all together, but you get beat into pieces?!" Laxus yells at Natsu.
Natsu smiles at him, " Got that right!" I smile, knowing where this is going.
"I was planning a stop at Mavis's tomb... But it was a surprise to find the second master here too. While I'm at it, why don't I... Dig your grave too?" Laxus says charging at him.
They  dance around each other. Hades shoots him but Laxus dodged by using his lightning step. Then Laxus knocked him down but collapsed in pain. He must have been hit. He stands still, hunched over on his knees. Hades prepares to launch a beam at him and I pull myself up.
"Laxus! Get up!" I scream at him. He lifts his head up and glares at Hades.
"I ain't a member of Fairy Tail no more but when you hurt my Gramps that way... It still pisses me off. And on top of that, you layed a finger on my Sparkles." Laxus says.
"No kidding!" Natsu adds. An explosion goes off, lightning ripples through the floor.
"My... Treat... Natsu." Laxus said callapsing near me.
"It sure filled me up! But why me? I'm not as strong as you, Laxus..." Natsu stands, lightning flickering around him.
"It ain't about who's strong and who's weak. Who got hurt? What good is it gonna be for somebody who doesn't have a guild mark to do the job? When the guild takes a pounding, the guild oughtta give it back... A hundred times over."
Natsu wipes his forehead and grins ferally. "Right. It's payback time for the Thunder-Fire dragon."
Laxus smiles and closes his eyes. I pull myself to him and grab his hand. "Laxus? Are you awake?" I whisper.
He opens one of his eyes and looks at me with a half smile on his face. Tears roll down my eyes and I collapsed against his chest. He lifts his arm and places his hand against my cheek.
"What's wrong? Do I really look that bad?" I laugh and wipe my tears away.
"You always look this bad... I missed you Sparky."
He laughs and stares at me with a serious exspession. "I missed you more, Sparkles... More than you'll ever know... Are you hurt bad?"
I hear Natsu roaring and he blows up half the ship. I flinch at the noise and turn back to Laxus.
" I think my leg is broken, but it'll buff. He did it.... They got him. I wish I was there with them. I could still help..." Laxus nods and closes his eyes again.
"Your hurt, there's nothing you can do about that. Tell them I'm asleep. I don't want to deal with him at the moment." He whispers and puts my hand in his.
"I won't say a thing, but you owe me later." I whisper back. He brings our hands to his mouth and he kisses the top of mine.
Soon after, the exceeds burst through the doors with a bunch of enemies trailing behind them. Damn, no one has any energy left to fight. All of the sudden a clear voice rings out in the air.
"Stop right there!"
I look up to see my wounded guildmates. All lined up in a row, and Gramps stood in the middle.
"Hey... Look over there!"
"I-is that Makarov?"
"Whoooa! There's more of them!"
"Master Hades is down for the count! Let's leave this island, Now!"
The enemies yell and quickly run away. We turn to each other and grin. I look at Laxus and he props himself up into a sitting position. I lean against him and rest my head on his shoulder. He wraps his arm around me, and we just sit... enjoying each other's company. Unaware of what's to come.
