A Fairy's Tail {Y/N X Various}

Welcome Back! Ch. 23

On December 16 in the year X784, Sirius Island was annihilated by Acnologia. Then, Acnologia disappeared again. For the next six months, ships combed the area, searching... But found no survivors. And so... Seven years passed.

Y/n pov.

I feel a pressure against my leg and I groan in annoyance. I open my eyes and squint against the sun light.
"Y/n?! You're awake!" I look at who talked.
"Bisca?" I look over, "Alzack? Why are you crying? Is everyone okay? Is someone hurt?"
Bisca smiles at me, tears still streaming down her face. "Everyone... Everyone is okay..."
I smile at her, confused. I look around to see the island in rubble. My eyes land on Laxus's sleeping position next to me, his chest slowly rising up and down. I pull myself up and place a hand on his chest.
"I think I remember..." I nudge Laxus to wake him up. His eyes flutter open and he places my hand in his.
"Morning, Babygirl." I laugh and wrap my arms around him.
"We made it! We're going home!" He pulls himself up and hugs me closer to his chest.
"We're going home."

Timeskip

We basically run to the guild. Natsu slams the door open and kicks the guys threatening Romeo. Romeo looks so big now! We quickly beat up the rest of the goons and we greet our guild.
"We've returned."
"Humph!"
"Everybody!"
"We're home!"
"Where's the liquor?!"
"How'd the guild get so little?"
"Wow, it's wonderful!"
"Yo."
"We've come back!"
Our guild mates stare at us in the break into tears.
"I-I-I-It's you.."
"You're so young!"
"You guys haven't changed in seven years!"
"What happened here?!"
I push forward and smile at my guild. "Um... Apparently Master Mavis Vermillion saved us from Acnologia. She turned our bonds of trust and friendship into pure magic. Everyone had one wish... To get home. She used Fairy Sphere. It protects the guild from all sorts of evils. It's an impenetrable protective sphere. But it keeps everyone in a suspended state until it was automatically released seven years later."
Natsu turns around and sees Romeo. "Look how big you got Romeo."
Romeo breaks down into tears and smiles wide. "Welcome home! Natsu! Everybody!"

We spent that entire evening at Fairy Tail. We drank, we danced, we stand. We partied to make up for the seven years we'd missed. Romeo practiced fire magic. He can make all sorts of different types of fire. The fourth master is Macao. Gramps even told him he can be master for a little while, not that Macao believed him. Alzack and Bisca even got married, they have a daughter named Asuke! The doors open wide and Lamia Scale walks in.
"I want to say to everyone, congratulations on making it back, from us to you with love!"
"So you're back to being a noisy guild again?"
"Are you all in good health?"
"Not really a question you need to ask people who haven't aged a day in seven years."
"Pegasus and Lamia really helped us out in the search for Sirius Island."
Gray groans, "Are you saying I owe them?"
"There's nothing to worry about. Pegasus may be ahead of us now, but we will prove superior in power." Lyon replies.
Gray sweat-drops, "That was your reason?"
Lyon looks away from him and sees Juvia. A blush forms across his face and he leachs to her side. "So this is called love at first sight!"
Juvia just stands there mumbling. "W-wait... Are you saying... Juvia is... In an all out battle!!!"

I laugh at her expression and head to my house. I run into the land lady and she stares me down.
"Your room is clean. I took the rent out of your account... just like last time. Next time warn me before you disappear again."
I grin at her tone. "Is almost like you missed me!" I spread my arms for a hug. She snorts and walks away from me. I turn to Tadashi and smile.
"She knows she missed us! We're her best paying customer!" She laughs and we head to our apartment room. I open the door and sigh. Just like how I left it. I had pictures all over the wall. Pictures of everyone, from Master all the way down to Jet and Droy. I walk over to my collection and smile. Everyone looks so young. The guild was big and we were much more respected.
My eyes land on the picture of me and Lis when we were younger. We had arm arms intertwined and huge smiles on our faces. Dashi was sitting on her head and Laxus was sitting behind us, a playful scowl set on his face. I reach my hand and touch it. I miss those days.
"Dashi, you remember this?" She floats over and stares at the photo.
"Yeah! That was your eleventh birthday party. Look how cute you were!" She laughs, "What ever happened?"
I growl and chuck a pillow at her. "What do you mean, 'were'? I'm the cutest thing in the whole apartment building!"
She giggles and runs away. "I'm taking a shower and pretending you didn't just insult me..."
Her head pops out from our room, "You know I was just playing around with you!"
I laugh and head to the bathroom. I get undressed and turn on the shower. Nothing like a hot shower... I step in and stand there. I feel the got water running down me, and I just think. When we passed out, I saw a dragon...Helia... Why does that sound so familiar. It's on the tip my tongue. I groan in frustration. I wonder where my brother is at. I wonder who my brother is. I wonder what he looks like, or what is name is. I wonder where Da is, or who Helia is. She is obviously the sun dragon, but why can't I remember her? Why can't I remember my own mother?... Why does every shower I take end with me being so frustrated?
I laugh and turn the shower off. I step out and wrap the towel around my body. I think I need to sleep... I head to my room and get dressed in my pajamas. Just a basic t-shirt and shorts. I climb into bed and Dashi cuddles next to me. I wrap my arms around her and sigh.
"Hey, Dashi. I know that we.. we don't see each other much, but that's okay. You've been on Team Natsu for so long, I didn't expect you to forgive me. I don't think I deserve your forgiveness anyway. I just want to say I'm sorry..."
Dashi looks at me and places a paw on my face. "I forgave you a long time ago... I just feel like Natsu needs me... That's why I'm with him all the time. Happy can't do anything."
I crack a smile and touch her nose. "I don't see how Happy has to do with anything..."
She blushed and turns away.
"Oh?! Does someone have a cruuush?"
Dashi groans in annoyance. "Don't start with me. I know about you and Mr. Lightning boy. It pretty obvious.."
I laugh and poke her stomach. "No, No, No. We're not changing this conversation about me. Let's talk about you and Happy.~"
She turns back around and grins, ruefully. "I don't think he likes me back... but that's okay. I think he likes Carla and he is oblivious. I don't want to come in between their relationship."
I look at her seriously. "You need to take your chance. Tell him how you feel. If he can't feel the same, then there are plenty of other fish in the sea. If you don't act on your feelings, you'll never know. That's something you'll have to deal with your whole life... Laxus and I... We acted on our feelings... It was mostly him, but I accept them. We aren't dating or anything, but it's nice to know someone has your back. I want that for you."
She blushes even deeper and curls her body into the crook of my neck.  I snuggle close to her.
"Goodnight, Dashi." I whisper to her.
"Goodnight, Y/n." She whispers back.

Timeskip to Magnolia, Twilight Ogre...

"Like I'm saying, Gramps... You wanna talk, but we're way past that. You pay me in full, the we got no problems, but..." Twilight Ogre's master, Banaboster starts.
"I wish I could but... as well as you know, our guild is so poor it surprises even me. And looking at the ledgers, there's something odd about the plusses and minuses there." Master says calmly.
"Huh?!" Banaboster yells, "You're saying we're cooking the books?!"
My hand subconsciously moves to the hilt of my sword.
"Of course not! We'll pay back both the money we borrowed and a fair amount of interest. Someday."
Banaboster stood up and stares master down. "You're going to pay us now, you old fart!!"
Master sits there calmly. "Now, now, here me out. The first thing to do is recalculate the interest a bit..."
"You wounded five members of my guild, you know!! When we're attacked by our debtors, and we still ain't been payed back... That's an insult to our entire guild, old man."
"Oh? I'm only here to talk about the repayment of a loan. Do you want to talk about that instead?"
Banaboster slams over the table. "There ain't no that and this!"
"So, am I to take it that your guild's main belief is, 'Get payback for what is owed?' Is that fair? We've had seven years of property damage to our guild and attacks on our guild members... And therefore our guild should obtain payback for each and every claim during that period."
Master stands up, furious. "My children have, for seven whole years, suffered pain and tears, and you'll pay for that...So listen, kid! You're saying you want a guild war, right?"
Mira, Erza, and I all switch to our battle forms. I kept the flames to a minimum, but I let them burn the floor around me. Their guild stands there shocked.
"Wait... Uh?" Their master spits out. "Huuuuh?!!"

We quickly end our 'discussion' and walk out. Macao and Wakaba meet us out side the doors.
"So... It sounded as if our situation is under control?" Macao asks.
I look at the girls and smile.
"Yes, we have come to an understanding..." Master says, not caring to elaborate.
I lean in and whisper to Mira and Erza. "Did you notice all of their guild members were guys? Nasty Creeps. I wonder what it felt like to get your asses whooped by a couple of girls...."
They laugh and we fist bump each other. I say my goodbyes and start walking back to my house. Laxus did promise me a date...
