The limousine pulls up outside my house, and I quickly scurry around so I can open the door for Leo. She smiles and thanks me and mentions something about me being 'such a gentleman sometimes'. I take her hand and lead her to my front door.
"Here we are," I say, knocking. She looks a little bit anxious so I ask if she's okay.
"I'm alright, just a bit nervous. Coco is super nice just I don't really know what Sylvie and your parents think of me know, after everything..." Leo says, not meeting my eyes.
"Aw, baby don't worry. They know how much you mean to me," I say, giving her hand a gentle reassuring squeeze. I do let her know that Coco is still in Melbourne because she has a new boyfriend so she won't be here till tomorrow.
"Ruel!" It's the familiar voice of my mum and the door opening. I wrap her into a hug. My parents only came on the first part of the tour, so I haven't seen seen her in ages.
"Hey mum," I say.
"I've missed you!" She squeals. Then she turns and acknowledges Leo.
"Hello Leo dear, how are you?" She says.
"I'm good thanks," Leo replies, smiling. She still looks a little nervous though.
Next my dad comes up to the door.
"Come in kids!" He says, gesturing is inside. We all sit down in the living room. Sylvie comes downstairs and I am so happy because I haven't seen her in ages because she has been super busy with her own life and wasn't able to come on any part of the tour. We all chat and dad brings some drinks and we catch up, and by the look on Leo's face you never would have been able to tell she had been feeling anxious before. Eventually I start getting worried she might be feeling a little bit bored, so I excuse us from the living room and lead Leo upstairs into my room.
"Are you tired, babe?" I ask.
"Yeah," she says, yawning right on queue. Her yawn is so adorable.
"Me too. You want to get some sleep?"
"Uh-huh. But I don't have any clothes-"
"That's the least of your worries. I have heaps of t-shirts you can wear," I say.
"Sweet," she replies, and ever so casually starts taking off all her clothes. I can't take my eyes off her.
"Hottie," I say, "How about I get some clothes for you later..."I love how familiar the feeling of waking up next to Leo is becoming, even though it hasn't happened much at all. Usually I'm the big spoon, but today I must have rolled over in the night or something because her little arms are wrapped around me as tightly as they can. Soon enough she wakes up and I gently plant a few kisses on her forehead to greet her.
"I like forehead kisses," she says, a smile on her face and her voice all croaky because she's just finished sleeping. She's so cute.
"Coco arrived in Sydney today, and she's bringing her new boyfriend over to meet us all. But they won't be here for an hour or so," I say, stroking her silky hair.
"So that means we have a whole hour to snuggle in bed?"
"Of course," I reply, softly kissing her neck and then moving my mouth to her lips.
"And make out," she giggles, kissing me back.I hear the front door downstairs open, and I jolt up instantly.
"What's wrong babe?" Leo asks, still staring at my lips.
"It's been an hour!" I say, checking my alarm clock to be sure.
"Oh so Coco's here?"
"Yeah, and her boyfriend!"
"Calm down babe, she won't mind if you're a couple of minutes late!"
"She might! First impressions and all that..."
"Okay well then we just need to get dressed!"
"Dang, I like you with no clothes best though..."
"Ruel!"
"Okay, okay, you can wear one of my hoodies I guess."We walk hand in hand down the stairs. Coco comes to give us a hug first.
"Hey guys!" She says.
"Hey Coco!" I reply, noticing Leo hasn't said anything, she's just looking at Coco's boyfriend, wide-eyed, and pale faced.
"This is my boyfriend Carson..." Coco says.
Then Leo faints. Literally faints.
