"Why did you come back?" I ask, trying not to lose my temper.
"Because you have a son," she says.
"You're lying," I say.
"I almost wish I was."
"Then introduce me to him."
"Can't."
"Why not?"
"Because he's in Perth with my family."
"Well then show me a picture."
"I don't have any."
"Then I don't believe you."
"You should."
"Well why are you even here then? What do you want?" I scream.
"You seriously think twenty grand would keep me away? That only lasted a month."
"That's fucking ridiculous."
"Do you want me to call the police and tell them what you did?"
I glare at her.
"Think of your career... It would be absolutely destroyed."
"Okay fine. I'll give you fifty grand if you promise to stay away from me forever. Or I will involve the police."
"Uh. Deal."
"Well then. Get out of my house," I spit.
"One more thing."
"What?"
She steps towards me and pushes me against the wall.
"Get off me," I demand.
"No. Unless you want the deal off and I have a little phone call..."
I role my eyes, but I let her do it. I let her kiss me. Of course I don't kiss her back or anything, I would never do that to... Out of the corner of my eye I see a blur of a figure watching us. A blur with long golden hair, dark eyes.
"Fuck!" I shout, shoving Rachel off me, "It's not what it looks like, Leo! Please let me explain!"
But it's too late. She's gone."What should I do?" I whine, running my hands through my hair.
"I don't know. You messed up big time. Again." Sylvie says.
"Shut up Sylvie, we're supposed to be helping him through this," Coco replies through gritted teeth.
"You guys do realise I'm sitting next to you, right?" I say.
"Why were you kissing Rachel anyway?" Coco asks. Oh shit. What am I supposed to say? I always tell my sisters everything, especially Coco. I have never told them this... But I can't hold it in anymore. It has been tormenting me for years.
"Rachel... I was driving home one night a few years ago from a party with Rachel, and I was drunk and I thought she was too... But then she started vlogging and filming on a camera because she was planning on starting a YouTube channel or something... I know it's bad enough I was drink driving but... I was distracted by the camera and I was talking to it and... I wasn't looking at the road... I hit something and Rachel said it was just a branch, though you can't hear her says so, so I just shrug and keep going, but in the video you can see it wasn't a branch... It was a person. I did a hit and run. I didn't mean too. I just believed Rachel. That's just the small version, I don't ever want to try and remember the full story. So for ages Rachel has been blackmailing me into doing anything for her. And she tells me she still has feelings for me, but I know she just wants my money... So I think she just wanted to kiss me, to make me believe that she does still love me. But then Leo... Leo walked in..." I say, my eyes prickling with tears.
"Oh Ruel," Coco says sympathetically, "I just wish you had told us sooner."
