As we walk out of the wild flower field together, Leo gently brushes her pinky finger against mine. I squeeze her hand and entwine her fingers with mine. She looks up at me with a big smiles. I smile back. I have never ever felt this happy. My heart is still rushing with adrenaline from when she kissed me. I still can't believe she kissed me.

"So," I say, "Now what?"
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"Us. What happens now?"
"You can stay at my place or-"
"Leo," I say, tilting her chin up so her eyes are looking into mine, "I mean what happens tomorrow? I have to go back to Sydney tomorrow."
Leo doesn't know what to say, she just stands in front of me, worry flooding her eyes.
"What do you want to happen? What do you want?" I ask.
"You," she says, "I want you."
"We will make it work then. I promise. Because I have always wanted nothing but you."

I run onto stage and the crowd erupts with screams and cheers. This is it. The last concert of the tour. Lately I've been really struggling with my songwriting, so who knows when the next tour will be. Who knows what will happen tomorrow when I have to go home. The only thing I can do is make the most of the present.
"Hey Auckland!" I shout. I glance across the stage, and see Leo watching me from the wings, smiling at me. When she notices me looking back at her she blows me a kiss. I give her a small wink. Finally. Finally she's mine.

I have just performed my last song of the night, but I don't leave the stage quite yet.
"You've been amazing Auckland," I say, "But before I leave I would like to introduce someone to you."
I look over at Leo, she's raising an eyebrow and looks shocked. I give her a reassuring smile. She shakes her head, but I don't stop.
"This person means so much to me. I have messed up time after time, yet this person has given me more then one second chance. They never fail to make me happy or to make me smile. Words can't describe how much they mean to me."
I run into the wings of the stage to where Leo is.
"C'mon," I say, beaming.
Leo roles her eyes, but she's grinning too. I grab her hand, and lead her on stage. The crowd screams and squeals and gasps. I don't care what Nate is going to say. Leo is the world to me. And I'm ready for everyone to know.
"Everyone, this is Leo," I say, "And I am so fucking lucky to call her my girlfriend."
I can't hear the stunned screams of the crowd. I can't see the death glare Nate is giving me from the wings of the stage. All I'm focused on is Leo. Her eyes widen when I call her my girlfriend and she doesn't say anything. Did I just ruin everything? I shouldn't have brought her on stage without warning her and asking her first... I shouldn't be putting her on the spot like this... My mind is exploding with doubt. But then Leo leans forward onto her tiptoes and slings her arms around my neck, kissing me. She jumps up and I wrap her legs around my waist, holding her and never wanting to let go. She pulls her lips away from mine for a second, leaving them an inch away from mine, and whispers, "I love you Ruel."
I drift my lips to her ears, my hot breath giving her shivers, and whisper back so only she can hear, "I love you too."
