The Screeching Banshees had been on tour for 2 in a half months with Motley Crue. Touring was tiring and for some of the members particularly those who were close to their families it was difficult being away for so long. But the Banshees Josie especially wouldn't change it for anything. Though the Crue had curbed down on their wild partying ways that they were known for every day and night was an adventure. There was never a dull moment touring and hanging with one of the biggest bands in the world.

So far the Banshees opened every Crue show performing covers and their own original songs until eventually their setlist was composed completely of their own original songs. The audience reaction usually when they first came out was mixed but when they were done performing the audience was to quote Rodney eating out the palms of their hands. The Banshees were getting some notice but they still had yet to secure a deal but they were okay with it for the time being at least they were getting the exposure and publicity from touring with Motley Crue.

Lyra groaned as she rolled over her face coming in contact with a mane of strawberry blonde hair. She sputtered and spit out the strands of Juno's hair which had gotten into her mouth. She rolled back over ended up hallway on Aries who simply mumbled in her sleep before pulling her arm out from under Lyra's back.

"Fucking A." Lyra moaned to herself turning her head to see the first lights of sunrise entering the bedroom section of the RV.

Lyra frowned and looked into Aries sleeping face then looked to her left where Juno's hair was sprawled over the pillow. Lyra hoped that soon they would accumulate enough money from this tour to finally stay in a hotel if not that at the very least a motel. She loved her bandmates like they were own sisters but being cramped into the small bedroom of the RV was really getting tiring. She needed/wanted her own room and space to breathe and move in without all the extra bodies.

A loud snore from the front of the RV brought her out her musings. She rolled her eyes as Rodney whistled through his nose.

After managing to scuffle out the bed without waking her bandmates Lyra went to the kitchen turning on the coffeepot and radio turning the dial till it was on Rock radio.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen this is DJ Kenny on 97.9 rock radio!" Kenny exclaimed.

As Kenny droned on about the weather Lyra went to the bathroom with the door open.

"Anyway as you all know Motley Crue is currently on their Dr. Feelgood tour which has been a highly successful tour for the band but that's not the only thing that's got people talking." DJ Kenny said. "Everyone is wondering who this band who calls themselves The Screeching Banshees is?" "Rock magazines, music critics, and major labels have been wondering where did a band with this unique sound that hasn't been heard before come from." "All I know is major record labels are vying and competing to sign this relatively unknown underground band.

Lyra poked her head out the bathroom her toothbrush dropping from her open mouth. She ran to the table where the radio sat and turned the dial up on the volume.

"Word is that Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx discovered the band at the Whiskey Go Go Halloween night of this year and he was so impressed by the bands unique and unusual sound he got them to be the opening band for the Dr. Feelgood tour." DJ Kenny went on. "The band has been said to be composed of so many elements some which haven't even been heard yet in the music industry." "Don't believe me listen to this clip from one of the shows."

Lyra's eyes went wide as Haunted began playing then switched to Make Me Wanna Die, and finally to Bury Me Alive.

"That's just a couple of songs that you can clearly hear this band has a unique sound and are something special and completely different to the other bands that are currently performing." DJ Kenny continued. "The band is also an all-female band who at least to me are next to the likes of Joan Jett, Lita Ford are paving the way for women in the world of rock and metal."
