catastrophe

As soon, as you came to the realization that you could go home, you couldn't get the idea out of your head. You tried to tell yourself that it was irrational, and you were just being dramatic, but if what you had heard Changbin say was true, then Felix was just acting, and you needed to get out of here.

You grabbed a duffel bag you found in the corner, and began packing a couple essentials, in case you got lost, which was probably something that was going to happen.

You grabbed some men's clothes from the drawer, since you had been wearing the same uniform for two days, and since men's clothes were more practical than the long gowns women wore here. You grabbed some food someone had probably left for you while you were with Felix, and shoved it in your bag.

Even though they're liars, they sure are hospitable.

Next you grabbed a simple cloak, that would help you blend into the background, pulled the hood on, and snuck out of your room.

You walked briskly through all the hallways, and eventually made your way out of the castle.

You turned around and looked back at the castle one last time. Your heart ached, as you thought of the time Felix dropped you off here, and the way he made your heart beat a thousand times faster, and made your cheeks inflame.

Before tears could slip out of your face, and you could rethink your decision, you turned away from the castle, and some of the only good memories in your life, and walked towards the forest leading to District 9.

I need answers. Maybe one day I can come back here.

Felix POV

This morning you had woken up in a good mood, with the hopes of being able to introduce y/n to your parents.

It didn't make sense, but you already loved her so much, and you wanted to make her a part of your life as soon as possible.

But your happy mood collapsed when you walked into y/n's room, to find it empty.

You tried telling yourself that maybe she'd just woken up early and was somewhere in the castle. But you couldn't shake the feeling that she just wasn't here.

All morning you searched for y/n through the castle, but you couldn't find her. You asked everybody if they had seen her, and everyone said no, they hadn't seen her since last night.

It was nearly noon and you hadn't eaten breakfast yet. You were worried sick.

Where is she? Why did she leave? Was she kidnapped? Is she safe?

You'd told y/n that you would help her through her problems one by one, that both of you would discover whatever was going on together. You thought she'd listened and agreed, but you were wrong.

Please come back to me y/n, please don't leave me.

Your POV

You leaned your back against a random tree. A mixture of sweat and tears and probably some dirt smudged your face.

You'd run all night, taken over by fear and strange adrenaline. You hadn't cared if you were going the right way, you just wanted to get out of the capitol. Now you didn't care if you ended up in the capitol or District 9, you just wanted to get out of the forest.
