Your POV
Last night you had returned from the castle and fell asleep as soon as you lay down on your bed. Usually it took a long time for you to sleep, or you didn't sleep at all, but because of the relief from delivering the note, you got a good sleep.
You woke up, feeling refreshed and having a ton of energy. The first thing you did was go downstairs and eat breakfast like usual.
Next, you went to Henry's room and knocked on his door. This had become your routine: eat breakfast, train with Henry, eat lunch, train with Henry some more, dinner, meditate, and lie awake at night.
He opened the door, with his eyes half closed and his hair a mess. He waved you off and then went into his bathroom.
He was just waking up?
Henry did seem like the type of person to be a late riser to you, but over the week you had been here, he had always been awake early.
It didn't really matter anyway.
You sat down beside his door, as he got ready in the bathroom. When he came out, he still looked tired, but more refreshed.
"Let's go," he said.
You followed him down to the garage and sat down in the middle of the floor.
But Henry didn't come to stand in front of you and instruct you like he normally did. Instead, he walked towards one of the vans and climbed in.
You looked at him, confused, and he just waved you over impatiently.
You got up and jogged to the car, before jumping in.
"Where are we going?" you asked.
"I told you we were learning something special today, right?" he said, "We need a special place."
"Okay then," you said, leaning back in your chair.
The ride was silent.
Henry drove out on the old, bumpy roads the opposite direction of the castle. Eventually, he drove out of the forest, and started down another, older road that was next to the ocean.
You stared out the window with big eyes, taking in the sight. You had never been to the ocean before and you had never seen this much water in one place. It was magical.
Henry started driving uphill on a narrow path. It wound around something that seemed like a mountain to you, and one slip would send you plummeting into the ocean below.
Henry drove slow, so that didn't happen.
You reached the top and it flattened out, so that Henry was able to drive on and park in the corner. You both climbed out of the car and the wind whipped your hair around, so you tied it into a ponytail.
You were pretty much standing on a cliff that hung out over the ocean. If you looked down you could see the froth from the waves hitting against the base of the mountain.
The wind was strong, so Henry had to yell for you to hear him.
"There's something called chi healing," Henry said, "Only the powerful people can do it and I believe you can too."
You nodded your head in understanding.
"How does it work," you asked, having to yell as well.
"You can't bring people back from the dead," he explained, "But you can heal people. It drains your energy because you basically give someone your energy. It doesn't work too well on people with big injuries, but it works incredibly well on sick people."
