Memories

Shen Wei drew close to the mirror, as he focuses on the mirror the scene changed.
He saw his 16 years old self sat in class, he was reading a book and a boy approached him and sat in the seat next to him. He didn't say anything he just sat there and stared at Shen Wei. Shen Wei noticed the boy staring, he was getting flustered and as he turned over to the boy, the boy pierced into Shen Wei's cheeks with his index finger. "Smile a little..." the boy said with a beautiful smile. Shen Wei was stunned when he saw the boy, he had a mushroom haircut, beautiful brown eyes and he was sucking on a lollipop. Shen Wei turned red, that's the most contact he's done with someone else apart from Yezun. He quickly turned his face back to his book as he adjusted his round rim glasses. The boy just laughed calling him cute whilst biting his lower plump lip.

"Yunlan..." the boy said.

"Huh...?" Shen Wei muttered.

"My name. It's Zhao Yunlan but you can call me Yunlan." He said to Shen Wei as he pulls out a book from his bag pack.

"We've been in the same class for a week and I have never seen you smile and you do not associate yourself with others either. So from today, I'm your seating partner, I'll make you smile and also, you and I are going to be great friends." He added.

Shen Wei was confused. He didn't like to talk to others. He was scared he could lose control of his powers and he could hurt people. He ignored him and went back to reading.

It was lunch break, Shen Wei had his lunch at the school playground under a tree. Yunlan got his lunch and sat in front of him.

"WOOOAAAHHH!!!" Yunlan shouted making people stare at them.

"Unraveling the chilling murders of Dragon City! My favourite book. Have you read the other volumes? I can't wait to get them." Yunlan said to Shen Wei as he snatched the book from him.

"I've...I've got the other volumes. If you want them I can lend them to you..." Shen Wei said.

Yunlan immediately grabbed onto Shen Wei's hand "REALLY?! That would mean the world to me thank you...I never got your name partner..."

"Shen Wei."

"Shen Wei. Nice to meet you. You and I will definitely get along well." Yunlan said as he sat next to him and wrapped his arm around Shen Wei's neck.

It turned out Shen Wei and Yunlan were roommates since their school is a boarding school. Yunlan moved into Shen Wei's dorm that day claimingthere was a problem with the dorm he was in. They became closer because of this. They had similar interests, they both had dreams of being detectives. They enjoyed crime solving novels. They did everything together.

However, Shen Wei began to have strong feelings for Yunlan, he couldn't bring himself to say it. Yunlan was the perfect guy for Shen Wei. He truly understood Shen Wei, he knew about Shen Wei's powers and whenever his powers were manifesting and he couldn't control it, Yunlan was the one that helped him calm down.

As the first term was about to end, Shen Wei made up his mind that he will confess to Yunlan but whenever he tries to confess someone always intervenes and he doesn't confess and sometimes when he gets the chance, he thinks about not wanting to ruin his friendship with Yunlan. On the last day of school, Shen Wei decided to confess, he couldn't hide his feelings anymore. He pulled Yunlan into an empty classroom and as he was about to confess...
