Varian and Cassandra walked past the entrance of the town saw the destruction. Black rocks covered almost the entire town, the rocks destroying the houses. His eyes widen and almost shedded a tear but kept it in. 'Cant break down now..' He told himself and went straight ahead. They walked pasted a house that was cover in rocks and showed no sign of life. Varian looked away and took deep breaths to not cry.
A villager peered through their house and saw the boy who looked familiar until he turned to face him. He saw Varain and grew rage and then decided to confront him. "Varian, what are you doing here!Your not allowed here ever since you turned your back on this land. I'm going to tell the king your here and put you back to jail where you belong!!" The villager yelled causing the rest of the villagers to surround them. They all gasped as they saw the so called "traitor" in town, the began to yell insults at Varian as he covered his ears. "Stop, it wasn't my fault..." His eyes shut as he sunk down holding his head. Cassandra went to help him but something started making her weak. She looked down and saw the stone glow as well as Varain's hair. A couple of the people saw this and backed off but some people shouted more insults. She began to panic cause she couldn't do anything. "Varian stop!" She yelled and went to grab his wrist but his powers lost control.
His eyes turned white and rocks shot out stabbing the people around them, killing them in the process. Cassandra flew back from force knocking her on to the ground. His eyes faded back to normal but his hair still glowed bright. He looked around and began screaming, "W-what-!!" He held his mouth closed with his hand before seeing his hair. "Wh-what happening to me-! What it this...!!" He took a few steps back but rocks formed and followed him. He triped on a rock that formed and fell, he curled up on the ground and began to cry. Rocks grew and slowly formed a barrier around him. Cassandra stood and saw Rudiger running from Varian's bag to the rocks. She ran to the animal and grabbed him before a rock formed right were he was standing.
'I guess it's time to tell him..'
A/N: I'm happy to hear this story is catching people's eyes. The whole reason why I started this was because I saw not a lot Moon Varain storys, and the ones I found weren't finished. I have a big plan for this story and I'm planing on finishing it as well! I'm going to try and upload as much as I can, but the outsiders rehearsals I have for my school play will effect my updating so I'm sorry If I can't upload in a week or two.
