Varian was jerked awake as the wagon stopped. "We are here" Cassandra said before dropping the leashes and hoping out. "Oh... How long was I asleep for?" Varian said scratching the back of his neck. "Oh about 3 hours... Which I don't get cause you were already passed out for an hour cause of the moon stone." Varian gave a nervous chuckle before seeing the place. It was an abandon cabin that looked really old, almost haunted. Varian shivered. "Oh come on it's not that bad in there." Cassandra said slapping Varian's back making him tumble forward to the cabin.
They both walked in the cabin, Cassandra went to the rooms while Varian walked around. He walked through the halls and down the stairs to find a door. He opened the door to see a cobblestone room with chains and trinkets around the floor. He walked in with the urge to puke. "Why is this he-" Before he could say anymore he found a dagger with old blood on it.

"Well well, look at what we have here?" A guy said while pinning Varian to the wall by his neck. "P-please..." Varian said scratching at the guys hand. "What let you go? Why would I let you go when you almost killed my sister buddy.." The man began squeezing tighter and began cutting Varian's airway off. "I-I didn't m-mean t-t-to." Varian continued to scratch at the man's arm before his arm slowly became limp and started seeing black spots. "D-dad..." His eyes were about to close before he was suddenly dropped and heard screaming. "GET AWAY FROM ME PEST!" All Varian heard was running and then the soft pattering of paws.
Soft fur began rubbing his cheek and bringing his head up. "R-Ruddiger?" He openedhis eyes to see his raccoon friend. "T-thanks buddy..." He slowly brought his hand to ruddiger and pet him.

Varian's chest began rising and falling very quickly. "Varian where are you?" Cassandra yelled. Varian quickly ran out of the room and shit the door, heading back to Cassandra. "Whoa are you okay?" She put her hand in his shoulder. "Y-yeah I'm fine, just a bit creeped out by this place that's all..." He chuckled nervously. "Alright, well anyway. We'll train here and do anything we need before attacking the kingdom." Varian quickly looked up. " Attacking the kingdom, whoa Cassandra do you hear yourself?" Cassandra paused. "Cassandra if we lose you'll know what happens right? We'll go to jail and I have no idea what will happen to me since I'm supposed to be in jail... But are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. Cassandra nodded "Yes, and we won't lose. This is MY destiny... Just because this is suppose to be yours doesn't mean anything. I can take you back to jail, or worse... Use you to get to Rapunzel..." Varian took a step back. "Don't make me regret my choice..." She said before walking away. "~good Cassandra, make him scared...~" Varian's eyes widen as he heard a soft voice. "What was that..." He said before looking back at Cassandra and saw a tiny blue light flicker across the room following Cassandra.
A/N: I AM SO SORRY! It has been forever since the last update but fear not! Here is is (it's short!) And I'm sorry. Ever since the last episode came out I was really mad that moonstone Varian wasn't real! And we never got to know anything about his mom. Then I began getting into other things *cough* Danganronpa. A comment finally struck me to write the next chapter!
