Lauren's POV

Finally turning a left reaching a main street where houses started to line up.

We turned a right and drove all the way to the end of the road where lots of people were gathered... Some were wearing army uniform and had guns around their necks.

"We're gonna be safe here... So down worry," Brad said and stopped the car.

We all got out.

I walked over to the corner to sit down. I felt exhausted from the drive here, it wasn't that long it was more like a day and a half instead of 2 days.

I still couldn't get rid of how afraid I felt for Camila and Normani. I mean.... What if Camila needs me? Or what if they're in trouble? What if I lose her for good? I can't imagine a life with Camila, and I don't ever want to.

"Hey..."

I looked up to see Shawn approaching me. "They're not here yet, but I'm sure they'll be okay," Shawn said while taking the seat next to me.

"How do you know that?" I asked looking at him.

He shrugged, "I just know.... Camila and Normani are probably already on their way here."

"I just... I don't want to lose her," I started to tear up. "I can't... I just got her back and losing her would.... Would kill Me. Sorry... I d-dont mean to get all emotional...." I cried as Shawn pulled me into a hug.

"It's okay..." He assured me. "I understand that you're worried." I just sobbed into his arms not wanting to say a word. I just wanted to be in silence. I hope Camila and Normani are okay...."Mission has been approved." I heard one of the guys say. Mission? "In two hours its a go." The guy wearing an army uniform informed one of the other guys.

I pulled away from Shawn's embrace and looked at the men talking, "What mission?" I asked. I needed to know what they were planning.

"In two hours, we're bombing the town," One of them answered and my heart took a deep fall at the words. They can't do that!

I pushed myself up, "No! You can't!" I snapped at them. "My girlfriend and best friend are still out there!" I shouted catching everyone's attention.

"If we don't bomb the town the zombies will continue to spread," The guy in the army uniform replied with a straight face. "I'm sorry.. But if your girlfriend and friend doesn't show up in two hours we're bombing the town," He informed me and walked away.

"You guys can't do that!!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face. "JOHN!" I called.

"You c-can't... You can't fucking bomb the town! They're still... O-out there!" I sobbed.

"I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do," He told me and pulled me into a hug.

I pushed him away, "You're not even trying a-anything! You're just letting innocent people die!" I yelled. I could literally feel my heart breaking.

He gave me a straight face, "Without sacrifice there is no victory. If we don't bomb the town we're all doomed," He explained. "They'll probably be here soon."

"HOW!" I yelled as my head started to fuzz and vision got blurry. "They both can't even drive for shit!" I let out a deep breath and suddenly, everything went pitch black.

......I woke up at the sound of someone's light sobbing.

I slowly opened my eyes and noticed I was lying on Ally's lap. "Ally?" I got her attention, and she was the one crying.

She shook her head, the way her eyes looked at me let me know something bad happened.

"T-they... Bombed t-the t.....t-t... Town." I heard her say and my world just stopped spinning. I felt everything go silent like I was deaf and I felt my tears slowly running down my cheeks.

Normani's dead. And- Camila's gone.... And this time it's for good. I broke down, my tears immediately fell, my heart clenched painfully in my chest, and I let out gut-wrenching sobs. "N-no- No-oo no!" I cried.

"La-Lauren," Dinah approached us, crying heavily as well. I stood up and ran into her arm.

 "They're go-gone-" She cried out, her head tucked in my neck as we cried in each other's arms.

"I- I can't- I can't take this-" I sobbed, my hands gripped Dinah tightly as I felt my chest heavied, and throat clogged. "W-We were supposed to be here together- I was- I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend-" I cried out and felt both Ally, Ariana, and Shawn join the hug.

"I'm so sorry," John said from behind.

I pulled away and faced him, my face red and wet from my own tears. "SORRY WON"T brING THEM BACK! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SAVE ALL OF US!" I pushed his chest multiple times before falling to my knees. "Y-you- you were- supposed to save them-"
