The movie finishes and I let cash go over my notes while I go over his. "Wow, you went way more detailed" he says. I laugh. "Yeah, I normally do" I say. "It's getting kind of late, i think I might head back now" he says. I check the time. Jeez it's already 8:00. "Okay, thank you for helping me unpack all my stuff" I say. He smiles at me. "You're welcome" he says.
Cash leaves and I start to get ready for bed. I hop in the shower so I don't have to get up as early in the morning. When I get out, I hear a knock at the door. I quickly throw on a bra and underwear and throw the towel over myself. It's probably just my mom making sure cash is gone nobody would be here at this time of night. I open the door and to my surprise, it's cash. I freeze for a second before slamming the door in his face.
"I'll be back in a minute!" I yell, hoping he can hear me. I quickly throw on a robe and open the door again. It's better than a towel anyway. "Cash what the hell are you doing back here?" I say. "What am I doing back here! Hope why are you answering the door in a towel" he laughs.
"I expected t to be my mom making sure you were gone. FYI, I wasn't in just a towel" I Say. "Anyway, what are you doing back here?" I ask again. He leans his arm behind the couch. "Forgot my charger" he says. I roll my eyes. "Really." I say. He smiles and walks out the door. But before closing it, he leans his head back in. "It was worth coming back" he says and winks at me.
I smile. No. Hope no. You hear what your mom said and you know it's right. If you mess around with him or any other boy, you'll fail! I don't care. There's something about cash that just.. just fills a hole in my heart.
I wake up in the morning and get ready for school. I throw a cute outfit and do my makeup. I get some breakfast and leave to go to class.
As I'm walking into the main building, which has all the classes, I see cash. "Hey" he says. I look up at him and smile as we walk. "Hey" I say. "Wanna meet up for lunch and work on the project?" He asks. Wow. He's the one suggesting this? "Only if you actually show up this time" I say with a smirk. "Yeah.. I will this time" he laughs.
We get to class and take our seats. "Alright class, exciting news!" Says Mr. W. Everyone looks excited. Maybe we don't have to do this project! Maybe my grade will be saved! I mean, nothing really against cash but... sorry. "We have a quiz today!" He finishes. Cash looks so pissed off and slightly terrified. I let out a little laugh. He looks at me. "What." He says. He does not seem happy. "You look so pissed off" I start laughing even more. "You looked like a kid who got taken to a candy store for the first time but got all his candy taken away!" I laugh.
"Mrs Grey!" Says Mr. W. I immediately stop laughing. But this time, Cash laughs. "I'm sorry I was the kid in the candy store?" He laughs again. "Don't make me move you two!" Mr W is getting frustrated now. Me and cash both shut up and take out quiz.
The bell rings. "Ok so I'll meet you at lunch?" I ask cash. He smiles at me. "Yeah" he says. "I'll meet you at the library.. actually this time" he says. I smile and head to my next class.
