Demi's expression softened when she saw my state.

"I was gonna demand you tell me what this is about, but now I don't know," Demi said, sitting on my bed, one leg crossed under her. Maia closed the door and stood next to Demi.

"I didn't post that. I didn't even have my phone when this was posted. You have to believe me. I would never say something like that. I'm so grateful for all you two have done for me." The tears were flowing now and Demi moved over and wrapped her arms around me.

"Mara," Maia said, sounding like she was talking through her teeth. It was something I had noticed she did when she was really upset. It wasn't a common occurrence.

"Wha-Why would she do that?" Demi said, rubbing circles on my back.

"She hates me. And probably Maia too. She only cares about you," I said, looking into Demi's eyes. They were shiny and she looked like she would start crying at any second.

"Bu-But that doesn't make sense." It was silent for a while before Demi spoke again. "We believe you, Rosie, and I'm sorry for even thinking for one second that you would do that. I'll have a talk with her okay?"

I nodded and hugged her and Maia goodnight. Demi instructed me to delete the tweet and post that I had been hacked and that I loved and appreciated my moms more than anything in the world. Once it was out there, I went to sleep, deciding I would look at the response in the morning. I also decided my phone would never leave my sight again. At least while I was around Mara.

In the morning, I checked Twitter and it seemed that I had been forgiven. Everyone knew my character, and I noticed a lot of people saying that they were really confused because they know what I'm like.

After washing my face and brushing my hair, I slipped into some jeans and a black top before going downstairs.

I immediately saw Mara's head of dirty blonde hair sticking out of a ponytail. She was on the couch, with Maia on one side, Demi on the other and it looked like Demi was really digging into her for the tweet.

I was just about to go back to my room, when Demi saw me.

"Oh, Rosie, come here, please. Mara has something to tell you."

The two exchanged some looks, Demi's very demanding, but I couldn't see Mara until I walked around the couch. She looked emotionless. Bored even.

"Mara?" Demi said, gesturing towards me.

Mara refused to look at me, sighing heavily a few times. "Sorry," she muttered. "There can I go now?" She didn't even wait for an answer. She just got up and ran to the stairs.

"Is everything okay?" Maia asking, hand gesturing to my phone.

"Yeah, I think so. I'm not getting death threats and all that, so I think they know what I said is the truth."

"Are you going to see Jay?" Demi asked, getting up and going to the kitchen. Maia and I followed because we wanted breakfast.

"Oh, I forgot that was today. Yeah, I'm going, but I need food." I glanced toward the stairs. "I wonder what she's doing up there," I said, mostly to myself.

Not more than a second after I said it, there was a loud shattering sound and Maia's eyes turned to saucers as she ran upstairs, Demi right behind her.

I would have followed to see what Mara broke, but I honestly couldn't be bothered. I ate some cereal and drank some orange juice as I heard Demi and Maia yelling at Mara for breaking a mirror. Upon further listening, I discovered it was the large mirror in the walk in closet. It was the one Demi took her full-body mirror selfies in to show off her outfit.
