(This was inspired by How to train your Dragon. AN: I based the shape of the Dracos off of the dragon pictured above.)

High above the snow-capped mountains, two dragons fought in a mid-air battle. One was a white Draco who had a gold streak running from both of her gold colored eyes and down her sides to the tip of her tail. The other was a white Luinor, he had purple eyes and metallic scales which had a blue and purple hue to them when light shone on them. The Draco's right eye was clamped shut due to a gash running over it, her body was covered in several wounds from the Luinor's teeth and claws. The Luinor looked almost unwounded besides the small scratch on his left shoulder when the Draco had managed to get her claws through the Luinor's thick scales.

The Draco hissed and growled as she clawed rapidly at the Luinor's face, trying to at least disorient the ice dragon so she could fly away. The Luinor responded by grabbing the Draco's front shoulders and digging his claws into them, causing the Draco to shriek in pain. The Draco quickly moved her head back to avoid the Luinor's jaws before they snapped close to the white and gold dragon's neck. The white and gold dragon flapped her wings harder and kicked her back feet against the Luinor, trying to break free of the ice dragon's grip, only resulting in the Luinor's claws digging deeper into her shoulders. The Draco parted her jaws and shot a blast of white fire in the Luinor's face, temporary blinding the ice dragon and causing him to rip his claws out of the Draco's front shoulders and start rubbing his purple eyes. The Draco immediately folded her wings and dove towards the ground before speading her wings and flying through the mountains.

The white and gold dragon heard the angry roar of the Luinor and flapped her wings harder and faster, picking up speed. The Draco wearily glanced over her left shoulder to see nothing before looking forward again. Something suddenly crashed into the Draco's right side, forcing the dragon out of the air and pinning her to the snow covered ground. The Draco attemted to turn her head towards her attacker but was immediately pinned under cold, metallic claws. The gold eyed dragon immediately recognized the Luinor's hiss and felt his icy breath on her neck.

The Draco flapped her right wing rapidly, hitting the Luinor in the head several times and stirring up snow. The Luinor caught the Draco's wing in his jaws and bit down on the humerus bone, resulting in a sickening crack sounding from it. The Draco screeched in pain as her wing went limp. The Luinor dropped the Draco's broken wing and turned his head back towards the white and gold dragon's neck. "For a Draco, you're pretty weak." The Luinor growled, almost sounding amused. The Draco stayed silent, going completely limp under the Luinor's claws.

"You think I'm stupid? I'm not going to fall for that old trick. Say goodnight Draco." The Luinor growled. The gold streaks on the Draco's sides began to glow, starting from her eyes and going down her sides to the tip of her tail. The Luinor froze and looked at the glowing streak curiously. The Draco's scales suddenly ignited in a bright white flame, blinding the Luinor and causing him to let go of the gold eyed dragon. The flames went out just as fast as they appeared. The Draco attempted to stand but collapsed to the ground due to the pain from her wounds.

The sound of cracking was heard and then rushing snow. The Luinor finally got his vision clear again and snarled at the Draco. The Draco wasn't paying the ice dragon any attention, her gaze was directed at the approaching avalanche. The white and gold dragon attempted to stand but was pinned by the Luinor. "You're not getting away that easy." The Luinor snarled. "Avalanche!" The Draco warned, struggling under the ice dragon's claws. "I'm not stup-" The Luinor was interupted as the two dragons were engulfed in the avalanche.

The two dragons were separated by the rushing snow as they were carried down the mountain. After several minutes, the avalanche dropped the Draco off of a cliff and into the forest below. The Draco spread her left wing in an attempt to slow her fall. It only seemed to cause the dragon more pain when she crashed into a small cove. The Draco laid on her left side, both wings were spread out on either side. Her breaths were ragged and blood gushed from her wounds.
