Imagine an alternate universe where Bangtan Sonyeondan are a group of notorious thieves, and you've been hired to take them down from the inside.
"About a month ago, I learned the identity of one of the members of Bangtan Sonyeondan. I don't know h...
"You have everything?" my best friend and partner, Lee Chanwook, asked as he handed me my wallet containing my new ID.
"Yes."
"You sure?"
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Yes, Chanwook. I know what I'm doing."
"Sure you do. Let's go over it one more time, shall we? Name?"
"Kwak Mikki."
"Age?"
"Twenty-three."
"Occupation?"
I smirked. "Which one?"
Chanwook gave me an exasperated look. "Your official one, of course."
"Executive Assistant to the CEO of Bangtan Enterprises," I shot back, cockiness dripping from my words. "Now, can I catch my flight, or are you going to make me miss it with more pointless questions?"
"I suppose you're as ready as you'll ever be," he sighed.
"To say the least."
Chanwook stepped close to me, and I unconsciously took a step back. Annoyance crossed his face. "I just want to hug you. I'll miss you, you know."
"You'll be on the flight after mine," I replied, waving him off. "No sentiment, remember?"
"That rule's only for targets, not for old friends like me."
"Is that what we are?" I joked. "Twenty years together constitutes friendship, does it?"
Chanwook shoved my briefcase at me, acting annoyed, but the sparkle in his dark eyes said differently. I took the handle, letting our fingers briefly brush against each other. "Thanks. I'll call you as soon as I can."
"One more thing," he said. "This guy is known for being a player... don't forget to leave your feelings at the door."
I scoffed. "There is no chance of that. I deal with guys like him all the time, and I've never gotten emotional. Trust me, I've got this."
I turned and walked away, not bothering to look back. My suede pumps clicked on the tiled floor of the airport as I hurried towards my gate, knowing boarding would begin any minute.
My name isn't Kwak Mikki, although that will be my identity for the next few months. Back in Busan, I have a real life that doesn't include any secret identities. However, my job requires me to completely change my appearance and persona every so often in order to go undercover and infiltrate criminal organizations. I work for a company called Adjunct Mission Institution, or A.M.I. for short. They cooperate with the Korean government to provide highly-qualified, well-trained individuals to send on dangerous undercover missions.
The name of this particular crime group was one I'd heard in passing. Bangtan Sonyeondan. Over the past seven years, they'd managed to steal some of the world's most precious valuables. Works of art, jewelry, and precious stones were all fair game to the Bulletproof Boyscouts, no doubt sold for millions of dollars apiece.
About a month ago, I learned the identity of one of the members of Bangtan Sonyeondan. I don't know how many members there are, or how high up in the organization he is, but if my calculations are correct, this guy will be the loose thread I need to pull on in order to unravel their entire operation.
Bringing back proof of the rest of their identities won't be easy. Discovering just the one had been more of a stroke of luck than anything, and that was only because he was a high-profile public figure who couldn't hide as easily as the rest could. I was chosen for this mission because he's known to be a bit of a hedonist and, well, research shows I am exactly his type. I knew I was more than capable. I'd prove I could do this assignment because I was good at my job, not just because I have a pretty face.
Determination flowing through me, I handed the flight attendant my boarding pass and she directed me to my first-class seat. I settled in, buckled up, and smoothed down the legs of my tasteful-yet-tight black pencil skirt. No matter what this mission would try to throw at me, I was ready.

Hello everyone! Thank you SO MUCH for reading my story, I'm so excited to share it with you guys >.< Today is an exciting day because I looked at my notifications and saw I had my FIRST FOLLOWER!!! So exciting!! Thank you @mydearlexi , you made my day T.T
Anyways, here is the prologue. Please feel free to comment, vote, share, etc. and also follow me on twitter, instagram, and tumblr! The handles/links are on my profile bio :)
And yes, my tumblr is the kind where you can submit imagine requests, go for it ;)
As far as I go, I am a fairly new ARMY. I started stanning back in May 2019 when my sister showed me the Boy with Luv music video. I added it to my Spotify playlist soon after, and then I wanted to learn their names, and then... I fell down the rabbit hole. My bias is Kim Taehyung (obv), and he's been my bias since I first saw the first 30 seconds of the bwl music video. The blue hair, the tongue flick, the sexy gaze... *coughs* I mean, what?

Be warned tho, I do get bias-wrecked pretty much every other week. The last couple weeks have been Hoseok wrecking me because... CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP?!?! Mmmm, mmm, good!! XD So that's probably why Hobi's been making more of an appearance in this story than I originally intended. Sorry, not sorry!

A little more about me, I am 23 years old. Taehyung's about 6 months older than me. I've never been to a BTS concert (although let's hope they come to the US again!) or seen them irl. I live in the US. I don't stan any other kpop groups except TXT (anyone else SUPER EXCITED for Dream Chapter: Magic?!?!) and my bias is Soobin. I don't hard stan him tho like I do Taehyung, he's a little too young for that O.O Mostly I just want to pinch his cute cheeks.
Anyways, enough about me. If you have any questions or just wanna talk, feel free to comment, @ me, dm me, whatever. LOVE YOU KUTIES! <3 <3 <3
