Author's Note Time
Hi everyone! So sorry I didn't leave a note in the last chapter. It was kinda a filler chapter anyway, the only warning needed would probably have been for the swearing. My bad :(
I also want to say thank you for 100 reads! We hit it with the last chapter, and I'm so happy. You kuties are the absolute best. I hope you're enjoying my story :)
CHAPTER WARNINGS: TRIGGERS, LIGHT SMUT, VIOLENCE. Not to spoil it, but this chapter picks up in a major way. If you have any issues with swearing, horror images (think scary movies), violence with the use of guns, necking (as in making-out), or talk of abuse (NOTHING GRAPHIC I promise), this chapter might not be for you. Please love yourself first, I will not be offended if you don't read my story :)

The second Taehyung and I got home from work, Namjoon made us pack and laid out a plan for who was going to ride with who. "Sorry," he said to me, looking apologetic, "but you'll be riding with Taehyung. You have to make it look like you're headed to Busan on business."
I mentally groaned, but on the outside I merely nodded and kept packing. The next morning, we set out for Busan in Taehyung's Lamborghini. We dressed comfortably for the six-hour drive, him in black jeans and a loose t-shirt with a striped baseball cap set backward on his caramel fringe. I ended up in ripped denim jeans, red converse high-tops, and a soft white sweater. After about an hour of driving, I started to feel myself drift off.
She leaned over me, smiling. "Y/N," she cooed, running a hand through my hair. "Want to help me with dinner?"
I nodded eagerly and stepped towards the counter to get my stool. Her grip on my hair suddenly tightened, and I cried out as she yanked my face up to look at her. Horror filled me as a hole appeared in the middle of her forehead, dripping scarlet. Her eyes went blank, her mouth opening in a silent scream. I shrieked and started struggling, but her grip just got tighter and tighter. I couldn't look away as her skin turned from pale to ash gray and her hair fell out of her skull in chunks. I tried covering my eyes as she decayed right in front of me, but the image was already burned into my mind.
"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" I sobbed, pressing my palms into my eyes.
"Stop it!" I gasped and sat up, sweaty and confused. An endless stretch of road covered on either side by trees was a welcome sight.
I slowly turned to look at Taehyung, whose eyes were wide as he peered over at me. "You okay?" he asked.
"Yeah," I muttered. "Just a weird dream."
"I'll say. You were talking in your sleep."
I rested my forehead against the cool glass of the window, taking deep breaths. "It's all in your head," I thought. "Just all in your head."
My mind flashed back to my training. "It's all in your head!" the Director shouted, swinging at me. I ducked the jab easily and retaliated, kicking out, but she was too fast. It was three in the morning, and after I'd had a particularly bad nightmare, she'd taken me out to the training facility with the promise of working out until I had no choice but to fall asleep peacefully.
We continued sparring, and eventually she knocked me on my ass like usual. "Sloppy," she snapped, not bothering to help me up.
"Better than last time," I muttered under my breath, careful not to let her hear me. Sure, she'd taken me in as a kid after my parents died, but she could still be a hardass. I rarely received praise from her even though my grades in school were perfect and I never got in trouble. Still, I never complained. It just made me try harder to please her.
