Part 5: Remember

I walk home after the test. I hear a scream coming from an alleyway, instantly I run after it without a thought in my mind. Running as fast as I possibly can I reach the sound. A women lying on the ground with a large cut in her leg... and that's it.

"Ma'am are you okay?" I say running toward her.
She screams again as I get closer. She slowly lifts her hand to points behind me. I slowly try and turn around but before I get to turn around I get attacked to the floor.
With a loud smack I hit my head against the concrete. A wide cut on my forehead starts to run with blood. I roll over into my back and lay there. I hear muffled screams. But I stand - well I try to anyway - my legs wobble as I get to my feet. The blood running over my eyes. I look for the siren. But it's not there. Just two people.
The suddenly I knew.
I run at the standing man and tackle him to the floor. My hands turn violet and the man is pinned to the floor. He's a normal man, but the anger in his eyes tell a different story. He somehow beaks my grip. And pins me to the floor.
"Little girl. Why are you trying to save someone you have never met?" The man asks

"Because I can!" I say back

He throws me at a wall and my eyes start I go a bit blurry. But I keep going. I stand up quickly. And my hands start to catch fire. The my body bursts into flames. My clothes burn away leaving my sports bra and spandex because they are fire proof. And those are cover by flames. My hair stands on its ends and it glows of red flames like fire. I run at the man and hit him. But instead of hitting him he grabs my wrist and punches me in the gut. I stand helpless. He then kicks me in the gut and sends me flying into the side of the building. I get up as quick as I possibly can and my arms catch in flames and I flick them to the side to make bigger flames and my eyes catch as well. This time my flames were blue. Stronger. I run at him and punch at his face but he dodges quickly and I move my left leg up a little bit and he move to dodge but I bring down my elbow onto his back sending him To the ground. He springs back up at me. He grabs my foot, and swings me around and throws me onto the side of a brick building knocking the wind out of me. I hit the ground and cough trying to catch my breath. My eyes go blurry. I grab at the wall trying to stand. My legs feel like jello. I manage to stand before being punched in the gut. I cough as he keeps punching me. All I give and let myself fall to the floor. I cough up blood and I fall to the floor. He lets me sit for about 30 seconds. He grabs my neck and lifts me with ez. I feel my air flow being blocked as the man squeezes my neck. I trash around in the mans hands, kicking and punching trying to make the man let go. But he doesn't. My eyes go blurry and flutter shut. My bounding heart slows. My arms and legs stop moving. My limp body hangs from the mans hands... well almost dead body. He drops me to the floor with a smack. My head smashed against the floor. I'm not dead. But I am dying. I lay on the floor, numb to all feeling. My body hurts but I can't feel the pain. My mind wondering with thoughts of my life.
I feel my mind slip away from me as my body shuts down.

Suddenly I feel a warm sensation run through my barely alive body. My hands start to glow red and they catch into flames. The my whole body is engulfed in. They glow blue with purple tints. My body floats from the ground and I look at the man who is messing with the lady on the ground. He looks at me.

"What the hell?!" He screams.

I don't speak. My eye still shut. The man starts to run out of the ally but I sold out my right arm and it flows the violet color and pulls the man back. He stands in front of me. I open my eyes to look at the man. He cowers in fear looking at my merciless eyes. I drop the man to the floor.

"What are you?!" He says.

I don't reply.

With a sudden boost of energy. The man runs at me and with his hand bent into a fist. I catch his hand and twist it so it seems I threaten to beak his arm. He tries to punch me with his other hand but I catch that one two and twist it. I snap one of them and leave the other untouched. He turns and touches my stomach, my mind flows blank. And then suddenly I snap out of it and I lose it. Without hesitation my flames grow and the violet light traps the heat inside. And a small explosion of flames emerges from my body and the as soon as it started it stoped and I lay on the ground. And as I fade away I see the lady. I saved her. My last thoughts were that I felt this has happens before.

I feel my body being lifted off the ground but I can't open my eyes. I can see lights threw my eye lids though. I'm getting put into an ambulance. A breathing tank is attached to me. Ans I can breath, better and it feels good. I hear someone talking. But it just sounds like muffled sounds.
"Cn you h-" is what I heard. I try to open my eyes. Slowly they flutter open and the lights hurt my eyes I close them again. And fall asleep. Then the pain in my body actually comes. I hurt all over. There is pain absolutely everywhere. Then I would think that we were at the hospital because the ambulance stops. The open the doors and pull out the bed. A lady follows next to me with my air tank and some thing else. I get pushed threw the doors and rushed to a room. And there I really fall asleep. Once I wake i am greeted by Rey.
"What happens my I ask?" He says.
"There was a man and he was going to turn into a siren by killing this lady and I had to save her." I say

"Shouldn't you know that when a person is about to become a siren that is there strongest point." Rey says trying not to scream at me.

"Actually i didn't know that." I say

"Okay we'll know you do." Rey says "they are letting you out in a few hours. Tomorrow is our last day on training. But we will be getting outfits and making weapons. You already have your mask."

I nod. And Rey walks out of the room. Then my mom rushes in.

"Oh my god my baby!" She yells as I lift my hands to greet her in my arms.

"The doctor says that that you had your ribs smashed. But when you used your power you healed your wounds on your own. Did you go all out?"

"No, that would have destroyed the city," I say with a small laugh.

My mom laughs along. She stays with me the whole time until I got to leave.
