part: 15 Control. pt2

I look at him and he stares back, he tilts his head so he can get a better look at me.
"What?" I ask

"You're eyes," he starts "they are black," I look at him confused.

He shoots his hand up and the walls change. A camera pans on my face and it is projected on the walls. My eyes are black.
I look at him and he is smiling. All of a sudden I feel heat grow from my back and then in front of me I see the black flowing flames come out of my back. The floor beneath my feet starts to shake.

"What's going on?" I yell to Rey as he tried to stand.

And I look at him. His eyes are black as well. And his flames are flourishing from his back.

"What's going on?" I yell to him and he looks just as confused as me.

My medal arm starts to catch flame as well. In that moment everything stops. And all I can see is Rey and we are in a white room of some sort. No walls no doors. Nothing.

"What's happening?" I ask him.

"I didn't know," he says

As he says this we hear a loud bang and we shoot up and look around. Nothing. Then the white walls turn to screens and I see my mother. Tears start rolling down my face. Then peters face shows on the screens.

"How is this possible?" I ask Rey

"I don't know." He says

On an invisible speaker we hear a voice.

"This is the place you both fear the most. It will show us your true abilities. How strong you both really are. Especially you Violet."

Then the ground beneath our feet begins to shake. A wall shoots out of the ground splitting me away from Rey. I panic. I bang on the wall. And I can hear him banging on it as well. The walls turn black and I see the ground turn to grass. Then all around me I see fire. I look around me and I see my mother and I.
"No. NO. Not again." I scream

I see my father looking at me and her. My body begins to shake. The whole scene of my mother killing herself plays right in front of me, it feel like I'm there. I can feel the heat of out power and I can feel the grass. But the pain of her death stings like a bullet. Even worse than the first time. It plays again and again, and each time I get angrier and angrier.

"I love you violet." I hear my mother say in her last moments.

"SHUT UP!" I scream at her.

I fall to my knees right where the hologram of her body lays.

"Shut u-up." I say banging my fists against the ground. I feel the ground shatter beneath my fists. And then her voice echoes around the room.

"I love you, violet," the same voice she used. I catch fire. And I see the ground start to melt but I don't care. My flames heat up more and more. I flick my rists at the wall that splits me and Rey and I look up slowly and the wall glitches away into thin air. I stand from my melted crater in the ground and I walk to Rey. I see him crying in a pit of melted floor as well. He looks at me and shoots back for a second.

"V-violet?"

"Yes." I say back you look different.

I help him to his feet. He wraps his arms around me and I wrap mine around him.
"Don't leave me alone, please." He says

"I won't," I say brushing my fingers threw his wavy hair.

I press my left hand against the floor and i inter lock my metal fingers with Rey and we teleport back to the arena where we can from.

Rey looks up and sees the arena and he pus his hand to the floor and we raise up. We float out way to the opening to the arena.

"You are back." Lyla says

"Can you stay with me?" I ask Rey

"Yes," he says

"What did you see?" I ask laying down on my bed.

"I saw a dream. It had my family in it. And you." He says

"Me?"

"Yes, i saw you die."

"Do you dream about me." I ask him.

"Yes, violet." He says laying down next to me.

"But I only see you in nightmares." He says "I see you die in every way possible."

"That's violent." I say

"I worry about you a lot."

I turn in the bed to look at him.

"I am in love with you, but I know you love Liam instead."

I smile at him.

"You know, I never said I was in love with Liam. We protect each other. He is going to fall down a horrible path in the future anyway." I say

"How do you know that?" He asks me

"Because when you love someone who doesn't love you back you may end up moving on or simply, becoming a monster."

He turns to look at me.

"That kiss that night was Liam, not me. It was like I was in a dream and I wouldn't have changed that kiss for the world."

Rey pull me closer and places his lips on mine. This is what I wanted.

I let go and so does he. We catch our breath and go again.

-this is perfect-

"I love you, violet."

"I love you." I say hugging him while he wraps his arms around me.

[about two weeks later]

"It's a shame to know that our 'royal' charmer has a love. Newly announced assassin Violet Milo was caught holding hands, hugging and kissing, out young mayor Rey Williams." Says the radio

-my name is violet milo I'm in love with the mayor of Tokyo. I am one of the most powerful people in the world. I have to kill more than 1 thousand sirens in one week exactly. And I have to do it in 30 minutes. Then I get to come home. My brother, mother, and father are all dead. I have no family at all. But I have fame and other things. But I'm still not happy with my self. I don't know why.- I think as I drift to sleep while leaning on Rey.

Thank you so much for being patient with me. I've had a really hard time tiring this new chapter but I think I finally found my inspiration for writing again. I really hope you enjoyed this chapter.
