A Ghost in the Rainbow.

Training Scenario

"Attention all operators, thirty seconds until scenario begins, defenders, begin your preperation phase." The loudspeaker chimed. "You heard it people, set up the defenses." Valkyrie said to her team. "Why did we get chosen for this?" Ela piped up while throwing down one of her Grzmot mines. "Because, we drew the short straw." Tachanka replied. "Who are we even going against?" Rook asked over the comms. "I dunno, must be someone pretty good if it's only them." Valkyrie replied, throwing one of her black eyes onto the roof above the stairwell. "Either that or they're arrogant" Vigil said quietly.

They were defending the second floor hostage site, the house itself was large, 3 floors including a basement, multiple ways in and out, these factors made the house world renown for variable and dynamic scenarios. And Valkyrie's team was one of the most dynamic teams there was. But they had no idea as to who they were facing. and that made them nervous.

POV: Viking

"Attention operators, Begin the scenario." Acter the loud speaker finished, Chambered a round into his rifle. He flipped it into Semi-Auto and began heading towards the building. On his way he spotted a CCTV camera, remembering what Ash had told him, he put a single round through the camera.

POV Valkyrie

"Damn it, we just lost the north side camera." Valkyire said into her comm. "Did you get a glimpse of him?" Rook asked, "Yeah, North side. He should be nearing the main entrance. "I got him." Ela said. "Ela, do not engage, wait for backup."

POV Viking

Viking crept up to the door, he took out one of his ASE grenades and rolled it under the barricade. The grenade pulsed to life, a computer generated holo image appeared in Vikings vision. It was as if he could see through the wall. He saw a silhouette lying prone in one of the corners, waiting for Viking to enter.

POV Ela.

Ela could hear footsteps outside her room, she heard them go up to the door, suddenly, a strange black orb rolled under the barricade, it started emitting a high pitched chirp, it sounded like a cricket. She soon heard the footsteps move away from the door, she stood up to try to reposition to the other side of the door when suddenly rounds tore through the barricade, two struck Ela in the chest, downing her, but not 'killing' her.

POV Viking

Viking broke through the torn up barricade, as he cleared the room, he noticed a green haired women on the ground, glaring up at him, she tried reaching for something on her hip but Viking put a round in her chest 'Killing' her. "one  down, four to go." Viking said under his breath.

POV Vigil

Vigil was moving towards where Ela was hidden, suddenly, the loudspeakers chimed, "Attention operators, it is now a one versus four." Vigil knew that Ela was out. he moved down the hall towards the room where he was. He entered the room and saw Ela 'dead' He was about to exit when he heard a creak from behind him, he quickly turned around but a figure grabbed his BOSG, the figure grabbed it's own pistol and shot Vigil in the stomach three times. 'Killing' him.

POV Viking.

Viking watched as the masked soldier fell to the ground, "two down, three to go." Viking said. He moved out of the room and down the hall, he reached the stairwell and started to slowly make his way up it.

POV Valkyrie

Valkyrie was watching her cams when she saw a figure moving up the stairwell. she could make out some details on him. but one detail made her blood run cold, the soldier was wearing a coyote brown skull on his shoulder, Valkyrie, who worked in intel knew what unit used that style of Skull, they were going up against a Ghost. "Rook, he's on the stairwell, but be extremely careful."

POV Rook

"Copy that. I'm moving to there now", Rook ran as fast as he could, making quite abit of noise. "He's somewhere on our level now, he went out of my Line of Sight." Valkyrie said. "Ok." Rook said. He went to check the stairwell, but no one was there. Suddenly, he heard a chirping noise come from behind him. He turned and saw a small black orb, no bigger than a frag grenade on the ground behind him. Curious, he went to pick the object up when suddenly, he felt a pistol muzzle on the back of his helmet. "Ah, Ah, Ah, No one touches my toys but me." The figure holding the pistol said. "Merde" Rook said. The figure fired.

POV Valkyrie.

"Attention Operators, it is now a one versus two." the Loudspeaker said. Valkyrie watched her cams, when suddenly a figure appeared on her stairwell cam, it looked up, the soldier smiled and did a two figured wave at the cam before shooting it out. "Dammit, he knew where the cam was, Tachanka, stay on your turret, I'll watch the door." "Da" the russian said.

POV Viking.

Viking Approached the Objective room, he neared the door and was met with a hail of bullets, one struck his chest, not 'killing' him, but making it to where he was one hit away from losing. Sensing that entering in from this way was suicide, Viking Threw an ASE. It showed that there was a silhouette prone watching the door, and another silhouette furthur back in the room, grasping something. "Looks like I'm not getting in this way." Viking Said.

He entered the room next door to get some cover from the bullets, soon enough the bullets stopped. Thinking quickly, Viking aimed his rifle at the wall where he thought the second silhouette was, he fired a 3 rounds and heard a heavy thud come from the other side. "Attention Operators, it is now a one versus one." The loudspeakers said.

Viking moved back into the hallway to try to enter the OBJ room, he had an idea. He grabbed one of his spare mags and threw it in the direction of the first silhouette, this caused the silhouette to jump up and move, Viking seized this opportunity to make an entrance.

POV Valkyrie

Valkyrie was watching the doorway, when a small object landed near her, insticts told her it was a flash grenade and her body took over. As she moved, the figure that was looming outside the doorway made entry into the OBJ room.
Valkyrie dove behind a table as the figure fired at her, she returned fire and heard a metallic thud. She quickly peeked and saw a rifle on the floor, but no soldier. Suddenly she felt the muzzle of a pistol on the back of her neck, "That was a pretty dirty shot Squid." The soldier behind her said. The figure fired, Ending the scenario.

POV Viking,

After executing the SEAL, The loudspeakers chimed to life, "Attention Operators, cease fire, Scenario over, Attackers win." After hearing that, Viking holstered his pistol, helped the SEAL up off the floor, and grabbed his rifle. "Hey, Skull, Make your way to the viewing platform." The SEAL said. Viking smiled, Skull was one of the joke names that other US SFs called the Ghosts. "Where's that at?" Viking replied. "Follow me" The SEAL said.

Viking followed the female SEAL out to a large viewing area, it was like a small parthenon, seating lined a hill, all pointing at a large screen. On the ground in front of the screen was a large platform, Harry was there and motioned for Viking to join him, the defenders went up on stage as well, though they stood furthur back.

"I hope everyone enjoyed that wonderful display." Harry said into a microphone. Viking scanned the crowd, he saw a few familiar faces, but many others he didn't know. "I felt that this was the best way to introduce you all to our newest operator. This is Cody "Viking " Hallum, from Ghost Recon." Harry said. He motioned towards Cody to say something. Cody spoke up "Its an honor to be here, I look forward to this experience." Cody said. The crowd remained silent, typical of tier one operators, all seemed intrigued by Cody, but one was more intrigued than everyone else. She sat at the very back of the seating area, not close to anyone, she couldnt believe her eyes. Her callsign was Nøkk, and she had a past with the ghost on stage.
