A Ghost in the Rainbow.

Czech Republic (Part One)

After the briefing, Cody and Nokk had to prepare. First, Cody had to met up with the medical team at rainbow. There he met the French operator from the briefing, his name was Gustav but everyone else called him Doc. Cody had to have a physical done, nothing major, Doc mainly wanted to gauge Cody's physical fitness. After his physical, Cody had to meet with another of the units medics, a Russian woman by the name of Lera, she was apparently a member of rainbows detachment of Spetznaz, she had to inject Cody with a few different injections, being completely honest, Cody zoned out while Lera was talking about most of the injections, one word did catch his attention, 'Nano-tech'.

Afterwards Cody met back up with Nokk to discuss plans and possible contingencies in case their cover was blown. They would not have their primaries as they would be too troublesome, and they weren't warranted. They would be bringing their handguns though. Nokk would be bringing her 5.7, Cody would be bringing his P45T, he didn't use his Desert Eagle a lot, it was heavy, bulky and not the most compact of handguns, he only used it when the situation required something with a bigger punch than a .45. Finally he packed some clothes and went to try to get a good-nights rest, but he was doubtful that he would.

Twelve hours later

Cody and Nokk now sat in business class of a full loaded 747, bound for Prague, the Capital of the Czech Republic, and last known location of Dr. Simek. Their equipment was being sent separately from them, as carrying two fully loaded handguns onto an international flight would probably cause trouble. They were an hour into their flight, Cody was sleeping, whilst Nokk was listening to some music. 

The plane jolted suddenly, shaking Cody awake. Cody checked his watch, it was 10:14 UK time. "Something wrong?" Nokk asked, Cody looked over at her. "No, just never been comfortable in planes." Cody answered. Nokk chuckled slightly, "But you're Airborne no?" Nokk asked. "Yeah I am." Cody replied. "You should be used to planes, right?" Nokk asked. Cody laughed slightly, "Jumping from airplanes is a lot different than going down in one, firstly, when you jump you typically have a parachute." 

"After Afghanistan, where did you go?" Nokk asked Cody. "Had to go to Somalia, Pirates were interfering with US interests there." Cody replied "That's not very descriptive, they had to have a very good reason to call for you." Nokk said. "Well, when a prototype drone with an advanced weapons system falls into the hands of terrorists, people in the White House tend to start sweating." Cody said. He stood up to retrieve his computer out of the overhead storage. He sat back down and opened it up, he was working on a software patch for his Cricket sensors, he picked up where he left off, the rest of the flight was filled with small talk, mild cursing, mainly from Cody, and more turbulence.

Timeskip

Prague International Airport.

After about 5 hours, the flight landed at Prague international airport, it was moderately warm. After waiting another hour to claim their bags, the two undercover operators hailed a taxi. Nokk knew Czech, so she did most of the talking, the ride to the hotel took them past some of Prague's notable landmarks. When they arrived at the hotel they checked into their room, when they got to their room they entered. It was a suite with a full kitchen and one large queen sized bed.

On the bed was two packages, accompanied with a note. It read: 

"Alex, Natalie, I managed to have the staff deliver your honeymoon gifts from Erik and I, I hope you two enjoy your stay!" - Megan

Alex was Cody's cover name, Natalie was Nokks. Cody opened his package while Nokk settled in. inside was his communicator, as well as his P45T. Cody tossed Nokks package to her, she caught and opened it, inside was her 5.7 and communicator. "The best kind of gifts." Cody said as he checked his watch. It was late in the afternoon, and Cody was getting hungry. "I'm getting hungry, wanna come grab a bite to eat?"
