Hyunjin's POV (Flashback 18/05/2017)

"J-Jinnie," I heard someone whispering near my ear and shaking me. "P-please wake up."

"Hyunjin. Please, I-I am scared."

I opened my eyes confused and saw Seungmin sitting in front of me crying.

"Hey Sunshine, what happened?" I asked concerned.

"T-Thunder," He replied.

"What?" I asked confused.

Right after I said that, a loud thunder sounded from outside the house and Seungmin screamed and latched onto me.

"T-thunder, s-scary."

Oh. He is scared of thunder. I thought.

"Listen love. Please just slowly breathe in and breathe out for me. Okay?"

I saw Seungmin nodding slightly.

"Breathe in."

I saw Seungmin taking in a deep breathe.

"Now, breathe out."

After doing that a few times Seungmin seemed a lot calmer than before.

He flinched slightly when the thunder struck again.

I brought him close to me and hugged him while drawing circles on his back with my index finger.

"Don't worry love. You are fine. You will be fine. I am here with you," I said and kissed the top of his head. "Everything is fine."

I looked at the bedside table beside me on which my headphones and phone were kept.

Still keeping my left arm around Seungmin, I reached over with my right hand and grabbed the headphones and my phone.

I plugged the earphones in the phone jack and put the earphones into Seungmin's ears. Then, I played a random piano instrumental I had downloaded on my phone.

These were noise cancelling headphones so Seungmin won't hear the thunder sounds anymore.

I carefully laid him back down while still holding him close to me.

After a few minutes I could hear Seungmin snoring lightly meaning he had fallen asleep.

I kissed his forehead and smiled, gently moving a strand of hair away from his eye and tucking it behind his ear.

Then I shut my eyes and fell into a slumber.
