DRACO'S POV
"I can't do this anymore"
"Draco one day you will understand why-"
"No father I'm done; I'm not going to be used as a pawn anymore; I never wanted any of this" standing up from my spot at the dining table. My father and mother stood up with me; not knowing what I was going to do next.
"Where are you going Draco" I scoffed and ignored their question; heading towards the door that led to my freedom. I grasped the knob on the door and turned it; only for the door to be slammed shut by a spell that my father had casted.
"Let me out" I said; staring intently at the door; the only thing keeping me inside.
"No, you're not going anywhere Draco; you need to understand that we're only trying to do what's best for you" I spun around and glared at my mother,
"What's best for me? Or what's best for dad" my father narrowed his icy blue eyes; ones that looked identical to mine. Before either one of them could reply I swung the door open and ran out; aparating away from the manor.
This has been happening for over a year now; I didn't really get along with my parents anymore. My father was too scared to stand up for us; forced to follow what the other death eaters did. My mother used to be my best friend; she used to listen to me whenever I needed her too. Now, she hangs around Aunt Bellatrix and doesn't have time for me anymore.
Hearing the familiar pop sound I opened my eyes and didn't recognize where I was. It looked like a street in London that I had never been too before; there were average size two story houses that had a brick exterior and dark grey shingles. Some properties had white or grey fences that blocked off their front yards and the grass was as green as the trees that matched above. It was very quiet; it seemed that everyone was at work or just simply wasn't home.
There was one house that stuck out from the rest though; it had the same brick and shingles as the ones beside it but the difference was there was a girl sitting on a chair on the deck of her house reading a book. She had dirty blonde hair that covered most of her face; ivory skin, and she looked to be wearing jeans, a fitted white lace top the stopped at her elbows and some blue flats.
'Muggle' I thought; beginning to walk down the path; hoping that she doesn't notice me. To my disappointment though, she does. She looks up from her book and watches as I walk by her; I didn't look at her though. I shouldn't even be here; what would father say if he caught me in a muggle neighbourhood.
'Father' I scowled, I didn't really care what my father thought right now. I was beyond pissed; school was just in a few days and I had tasks that I had to do for Voldemort. Apparently Father disappointed him so now they're relying on me. I never wanted this, since I was a child I was taught only to associate with purebloods and nothing less; and throughout the years as I watched Potter and his friends I couldn't help but feel envious of him. Sure, I have both of my parents but at least he doesn't have any breathing down his neck all the time. I don't agree with what mother and father are doing; if it was my choice I would've separated myself from the death eaters a long time ago. I wouldn't have even joined in the first place; even when I was little I had to watch as my family treated our elves and maids as if they were animals; abusing them until they couldn't speak anymore.
And now they're hoping that I'll follow in their footsteps; but I don't want too.
But do I have a choice? I mean Voldemort did threaten not only my life but also my family; no matter how much I hate what they've done that doesn't mean that I don't love them.
"Hey" I jumped and looked over; seeing the girl now in front of me with her arms crossed in front of her; holding her book towards her chest. I felt my heart beat increase when I locked eyes with hers; a stunning grey-blue locked with my icy blue ones. And now that I was able to see her up close I saw that there were no blemishes; she was flawless.
