EPILOGUE
"Scorpius you're going to be late for the train if you don't hurry up!"
"Coming mom!" I chuckled as my son ran down the stairs; his new owl in his right hand; I watched as the owl hooted a couple of times while being jumbled around.
"Watch out you don't want to make Orion sick by joisting him like that" he looked at his owl; and once he saw that he was fine he set him down by the door.
"Can we go now mum?" I chuckled and ruffled his hair; he yelped and tried to flatten down the gel that he had just put in; apparently Draco had his hair styled like this for the first two years he went to school.
"We have to wait for your father" he nodded; we heard footsteps and looked up; seeing my husband at the top of the steps; in his usual black suit.
"Ready for your first day of school son?" Scorpius nodded and picked up his stuff; ready to aparate. I grabbed onto Scorpius' free hand as I took one of his suitcases. Draco walked up and grabbed his second suitcase and took my arm as we vanished from out home.
A lot has changed over the years; we still live in the same home that Draco and I bought all those years ago but he extended it so that our son could have his own room.
We made it to Kings Cross Station and we crossed the platform and stepped in front of the brick was that was between 9 and 10.
"Okay Scorpius now all you have to do is run threw that wall and the train will be right on the other side" he looked up; his icy blue eyes wide with wonder; he definitely took after his father with the same eyes, hair and completion; although Draco says he can see my eyes in him as well.
We watched him run threw the wall as we shared a look; taking each other's hands we walked through the wall as well. This was going to be my first time seeing the train as well. Once we were on the other side I smiled when I saw the rustic red train that Draco had been talking about. It was nicer than the regular trains that we had back home. Immediately I saw Lucius and Narcissa waiting for us by the platform; we smiled at them as Scorpius ran towards his grandparents; hugging them around his waist. I watched Lucius pick him up and swing him around in his arms; I remembered the day he finally accepted us.
MEMORY
"Draco could you grab me some milk? I need to fill Scorpius' bottle again before he wakes up" he nodded and went to grab some milk from the fridge; Scorpius was now a year old; I had told Narcissa about her grandchild and she wanted to come over and meet him. I could tell Draco was worried, but it wasn't for his mom; Lucius was coming as well.
Ever since that day at the house Lucius hasn't spoken to either one of us; Narcissa kept in contact with us and told us that Lucius was coming around; it was just going to take him a while. I was fine with waiting but Draco was becoming more and more impatient as the days went by.
Draco came back with some milk and I smiled at him gratefully before filling up Scorpius' bottle; as soon as I finished the doorbell rang. Draco looked at me and I kissed his cheek,
"It's going to be fine Draco" he nodded stiffly before going to the door and opening it; seeing Lucius and Narcissa on the other side. I could see a difference in Lucius; he didn't look as cold. But, I could still tell that he doubted our relationship; even after 10 years of being together.
"Hello Mr and Mrs. Malfoy! Come in! I'll be right back I just have to grab Scorpius" Narcissa smiled and nodded while taking a seat on our couch. Lucius slowly walked over but continued to stand; I turned and went up the stairs where Scorpius' crib was; I looked inside and saw that he was awake; curious about the new voices in the house.
