Long ago in the 1700s. The constitution wasn't created until 1787. Then it was established until 1788. But the declaration of dependence was made on July 4th, 1776 after the war ended from The Americans and the Britains.  After the war, The continental congress started to make the articles of confederation for the states but only 13 states did not occur during the articles of confederation until march 1rst 1781. But the articles of confederation didn't go well. So that's when they decided to make the constitution May 25 - September 17, 1787. That's is when The Constitution is created and where now there shall be presidents and other politics stuff in the white house. Then the amendments were created to help for the greatest constitutional protection and protection for individual liberty. There are basically 27 amendments in the constitution. But in the articles of confederation, there are 13 articles. But as we know, in every amendment they are giving the right for people as for freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and other things that gave the people the rights. From the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, they are the same amendments from African Americans. For example, the 13th amendment explains about ending slavery during that time during the civil war.  The 14th Amendment was given the rights of citizenship to African Americans and even that is born in the United States after they were freed from slavery. The 15th amendment is about giving the right to vote to African Americans. So it is fair for them to vote like the other people. We are thankful for the president Abraham Lincoln to stop slavery and made the 3 amendments to end slavery. And being brave for the Americans to bring America back together then split in half from north and south. "Ok, let's get back to the history from how the constitution was made." So we haven't discussed about how the amendments were made?  And how the amendment was made into the constitution? Well, let's say that it can be proposed in congress when 2/3rds of both house and senate agree. Let's say that the states can play a role in proposing changes to the constitution as well when 2/3rds of the state legislatures must call conventions to propose Amendments. It is a long work for the house, state, and senate to work on the amendments. And they have to figure out what they want the law to be, then they write it, then give it to someone else to sign it, then give it to the president to wait if the president will sign or veto the law. After that, it will go back to the beginning where they work on the new law.
