"BUTTERCUP"

-ending it with a bang (not really)

"Do you think Miles and I will be like that one day? Just like they are-"

KATIE WAS ENJOYING HER BEAUTY SLEEP ON A SCHOOL FREE HOLIDAY. The "holiday" she knows is tied to her recent kidnapping. There's no reason for the school to close during the first week of February.

But the parents from the other students living in the school were worried for their children's safety, weeks of having staff meetings and negotiations brought this mini holiday out for precaution. They hope this would give some time for the school to strengthen their security.

Katie sleeps in content wishing memories about her fight with Miles stinkin Morales would disappear from her brain.

But she can't, it's burned in her mind.

She let's out a sigh as she hears her alarm blare off on time, playing her favorite song. She leans her arm over to dismiss her phone but she can't. Her phone wasn't beside her pillow charging as usual. Which means-

Everything went white, things moving fast. Katie felt her head being bobbed back and forth and hands on her shoulders rocking her body vigorously. She hears her name being called out in panic, someone right beside her. "Katie, Katie, Katie!"

Katie slaps her friends arm in plea telling her she's awake, Sung Hye releases, muttering out an apology. Katie winced and stills for a moment to reduce her dizziness.

She looks up to Sung Hye annoyed, "Why did you wake me up for? There's no school today, What time is it? Did you take my phone?" Sung Hye ignored her questions and through Katie's phone on her bed. It was then Katie noticed her friend was dressed in casual clothes, her black hair tied in a high ponytail.

She crossed her arms, "It's noon. Kaitlyn Sara Watson, I know you did not forget our girls day we promised we'll do for like a really long time."

Katie lays her head back on her pillow. "That's today? I thought it was next month." She groans.

Sung Hye pouts, "Well it isn't, and you need to get your sorry ass out of bed!" She pulls on her friends blanket, Katie fights back, tugging her blanket to herself.

"Katie get out of bed, I know your still down about Miles," Katie stops fighting at hearing the boys name, but she doesn't let go. "But you have to move on with life and forget about him. Which is impossible since he's your soulmate."
