The next day Arthur was at work with Ava, George was also there. He purposely sat at the table next to Ava. She cleaned the shards and studied the symbols on each of them. Arthur helped her friend to assemble the shards. "It seems strange that such an old trident is here in pieces," Arthur said. Ava turned in her chair to look at him.

"I bet you're glad that we found it," Ava smiled.

"I am," he said walking over and placed a kiss on her lips. George looked away in disgust and walked out of the room. Ava sighed and went back to writing down the symbols.

"Hey, Arthur can you translate this?" Ava asked. He rushed over and began to write down all the symbols.

"It's a warning," he replied.

"A warning?" Ava asked.

"Yes, this is bad!" Arthur answered.

"Very bad or?" Ava quizzed him.

"Yes this is a warning for the trident to not be removed from its resting place, this will only intensify the war between us and my brother," he replied.

"Intensify?" Ava asked.

"The sea is already angry as it has no one to tame it," he said.  "Are you sure these are all the shards?"

"Yes everyone that we dredged up," George replied. Arthur nodded and walked out without a word. Ava stayed put and continued with studying the shards and sketching out a plan on how to put it together, what fits where. "So what's going on with you and Arthur?" George asked.

"None of your business," Ava answered and continued putting the pieces together.

"Are you hiding something as something doesn't seem right between you?" he suggested.

"George stop asking me futile questions and just get on with your given task," she replied not even looking him in the eye.  Ava decided to stop as a headache began to make its self known to her; she went straight to the break room she threw herself down on the couch a glass of water in one hand and aspirin in the other. She laid her head back on the couch she heard the door open but didn't even bother to lift her head.

"What's wrong?" George asked and placed a hand on her knee.

"I would like it if you didn't touch me, George!" She snarled. "What do you want?"

"Can a friend not check on his friend?" He asked.

"No you want more, you can't stand me with Arthur. You made that clear in the hospital" she spat as she sat her head up a little more.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he replied.

"Shut up yes you do," she answered and stood up and walked to the door.

"Where are you going?" George asked.

"Home I don't feel well," Ava replied and grabbed her motorcycle gear, mounted her bike and drove home. She sped home trying to concentrate on the road but it was difficult as her headache got worse, she narrowly missed being hit by a car, she had to pull over and remove her helmet. That was when her phone was ringing it was Arthur.

"Ava don't leave the lab!" He exclaimed.
