When Arthur took me home I saw he had placed the broken glass on my dining table, "how are we going to fix this?" I asked.

"Rest, we will deal with this when you're stronger," he said. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"This is far more urgent than me resting Arthur," I said. He said no more and laid me on the bed.

"Stay here," he demanded, I huffed a laugh and watched him leave, as soon as I heard his footsteps in the kitchen I returned to the dining room and looked over the glass, how we were going to fix this mess was beyond me.  I gently traced my fingers over it, it creaked under my gentle touch and some of it gave way. "Ava that better not be you!" Arthur called as he opened the kitchen door with two mugs in his hands, "you're just not going to listen are you?"

"Nope," I shook my head.

"What am I going to do with you?" he asked.

"I don't know," I said and took the mug from his grip.  I wrapped my fingers around the mug. "I thought we were finally here," I sat down in the dining chair pushing it back with my feet.

"I know, Ava," he rested his hand on my shoulder and sat next to me. "We will find my mother and then all this will be over and we can live in harmony," he said.

"Sounds good to me," I said looking over the broken glass again.

"We will get you to Atlantis, I promise," he gently kissed my head.

"I know, but we were so close," my eyes dropped to the strong tea wafting its warm steam into my face.

"It is most certainly a set back," he sighed and leant back in his chair. He ran a hand through his hair before sipping his tea. "But, we have been through worse."

"Mhm," I replied. There was suddenly a knock at the door.

"I'll get it, you stay put," he said, and got up to answer it. A few minutes later and in walked Tom.

"How are you feeling?" He asked and sat opposite me while Arthur made another tea

"Yes," I replied. His eyes dropped to the glass.

"What a mess," he said.

"Yep," I sipped a bit more tea.

"It's strange how people turn, I never saw George that way," he said just as Arthur came out with his tea, sat back down next to me and slid the tea across the table to his father.

"Power hungry, he was playing with a force bigger than himself," Arthur said.

"Power always corrupts humans," I said and gently took Arthur's hand in mine. He was just as hurt about this as I was.

"I know Orm is not exactly human but look at him," Tom reminded us.

"Maybe it covers humans and Atlanteans," I said and gently squeezed Arthur's hand.

"You're right, with the ocean being vast I can see why though," Tom said.

"I'd love to command the ocean," I replied.

"Oh, why's that?" Arthur asked.

"Because I can spend more time with Mikey," I said.

"Hey, what about me?" Arthur pined.

"Yes, and you," I giggled.
