Vulko took me to the surface on the back of his shark as quick as he could, we made it to the beach leaving the shark in the deeper parts of the sea. "You go to Arthurs father he can protect you, and I'll tell Arthur you're okay," he instructed. I nodded.

"Thank you, you must let me study your shark one day," I said.

"I promise, now go," he said.  I ran to Arthurs father's lighthouse, I pounded on the door and he opened it immediately.

"What is it?" he asked.

"I need to hide out here for a bit is that okay?" I asked.

"Yes," he said, "sit down and tell me everything." I filled him in on everything he had missed. "Are you sure you're safe here?"

"Well, Vulko thinks so," I replied.

"You need to find Arthurs mothers she can help you," he said.

"His mother?" I asked and turned my head to the side.

"He's never mentioned her has he?" he quizzed me.

"No," I replied.

"Ar, well if and when he returns we shall talk, all of us," he said.

"Okay," I nodded.

"Now, it seems you've been through a lot, why don't you go and rest?" he suggested. I said no more and headed into the guest bedroom, the photograph of Arthur and I was still sat on the side. I picked it up in my hands and looked at it for a few seconds before placing it down and laying on the bed, sleep was not to come easy. I tossed and turned till finally my brain relaxed and dropped me softly into the dream world.  A few hours later and I woke up to someone placing a hand on my knee.

My eyes opened slowly and still a bit groggy when my vision cleared and I sat up Arthur wrapped me in a hug, I was sure he was going to squeeze the air out of my lungs. "A...Arthur, I can't breathe," I stuttered.

"I'm sorry," he chuckled and let go of me, "I am just glad you're safe, Vulko told me everything. I have to admit you're very brave to talk to those guards the way you did."

"They shouldn't have snatched me from you," I replied.

"Well said," he said, he squeezed my knee gently. "I understand my father wishes for all of us to talk."

"Yes, he believes we need to find your mother to stop Orm," I said. Arthur turned his head away from me.  "What?" I gently turned his face back to me.

"We haven't spoken about her in so long," he said, his watery eyes met mine.  I wrapped my arms around him and pushed his head gently onto my shoulder.

"I am here now, I will help you find her," I said and softly brushed a hand through his hair. We both walked into the living room and sat opposite Arthurs's father.

"Son I know this is going to be hard for you, but Ava needs to understand what happened and how she is going to be able to help you find her," his father said. I gripped Arthurs hand gently comforting him.
