annie sees hayden making out with another girl. haydens back was facing the door and the girls face was facing the door. the girl quickly noticed annie.

??:who the fuck are you?
an:his girlfriend bitch.
??:nah hun. im his girlfriend.
an:for how long?
??:1 month.
an:awe i win. 5 years.
ha:anns, i can explain.
an:explain what? that you have been cheating on me?
ha:no i-
an:save it hayden.

annie turns around and storms off. she goes downstairs and outside. she grabs her bag and she gets an uber to a motel. she spends the night in the motel and the next morning she goes to the airport late in the morning and catches the first flight back to attaway she could get. once she gets home she runs to her room and calls kenzie.

ke:hey anns, have you seen hayden yet?
an:yeah, he was cheating on me for a whole month. 5 years gone without a single thought about it.
ke:im gonna kill that mother fucker. are you okay?
an:yeah, im fine. mostly. kinda? yeah, no im not fine. at all.
ke:its gonna be okay anns. hayden has clearly changed a lot and now he is across the country is trashy maine snow. there is a party at my house tonight for maddies birthday. the entire school will be there and you will definitely get your mind taken off of hayden and everything that happened yesterday.
an:no kenz i-
ke:no julianna. your coming to the party. the entire gang will be there and so will you. im picking you up at 8:00.
an:fine. but im not gonna enjoy it.
ke:okay, now. clean yourself up. i have to go get ready and then set up for the party. love you bunches! bye!
an:bye!

they hang up and annie stands up from her bed. she goes and takes a long, hot, shower and then picked out a black cocktail dress for the party. she curled her hair and did a smokey eye makeup look. she paired her dress with black heels and called kenzie. it was already 7:55 and kenzie showed up early.

ke:grab your shit. sorry im early but i have to pick up everyone else too.
an:um, okay.

after they grabbed everyone else up they went to kenzies house and the entire house enterance was covered in streamers and balloons. as they walked in there was a table with only alchohol on it and then tables lined up with only snacks on it. after about 30 minutes the entire house was crowded with people. annie was talking to multiple people at once until finally asher had time to have 1 on 1 time with her.

as:hey annie, how ya holding up?
an:im doing great!

annie was clearly drunk and asher could tell.

as:anns have you been drinking?
an:what!? no! im fine!
as:okay, sure you are. come on. im gonna take you up to kenzies room.
an:what? no! why?
as:anns, come on. i dont want you to get hurt.
an:ugh! fine!

asher grabs annies hand and leads her through the crowd when they got to upstairs hallway annie says something that asher never thought he would hear.

an:ya know asher, your really really reallyyy cute. and i might have a little wittle crush on you.

as she says 'you' she boops his nose and giggles. asher just smiles and keeps walking to kenzies room. once they get there they walk into it and annie sits on her bed. as asher lets go of her hand she grabs his and pulls him close to her body. asher couldnt help himself and he kissed her. they kissed passionately and for a very, very, long time. asher pulled away.

as:anns, you just broke up with hayden...
an:who cares? just kiss me!

annie kissed him again and he didnt refuse. after about 5 more minutes she moved to his neck and left hickeys and he did the same to her. nothing else happened that night except annie and asher fell asleep cuddling. the next morning annie woke up and realized she wasnt alone. ashers eyes fluttered open and he looked at annie.

an:did anything happen last night?
as:well we may or may not have made out and given eachother hickeys...thats it though. any you called me really really cute...
an:oh no. kenz is gonna kill me!
as:she wont know if we dont tell her.
an:but the hickeys! come on. we are going downstairs to see who is here.
as:fine!

they hurry downstairs and see kenzie and johnny sitting at the island in the kitchen. kenzie is clearly hungover and same with johnny.

ke:well look whos awake
an:hi
jo:so ash, any action last night?
ash:um...i-

annie hits asher on the shoulder and he stops talking.

as:yeah. nope. none.
ke:anns, are those hickeys?
an:what? no!
ke:yeah, okay.

everyone got home and did their own thing. about a week later it was monday. the day everyone had to go back to school. annie hadnt seen asher since the night of the party and she was scared. scared to see him. at the school she met up with kenzie and everyone else and asher happened to be there.

an:good morning
ke:i see the hickeys are still there anns
an:there was never hickeys kenz
jo:thats a lie annie and you know it
as:there wasn't hickeys and still isnt hickeys
ac:from what i see you seem to have them too. what happened and where?
as:i...um...i dont know what your talking about. you must be hallucinating or something. all of you.
an:yeah...
ke:whatever you say asher.
an:anyways, schedules change in exactly a week so soak up the last bit of these schedules that you can get.

(a/n: sorry for not updating for a few days. im in the middle of a switch between public school and online school and in a few hours everything will be final. once i get officially switched i will be able to write more since i only have 2 classes a day. anyways comment your opinions on this chapter)
