hayden is here. why? i have so many questions and they most likely wont get answered. i feel like i cant move. and apparently i didnt until kenzie snapped me back into reality.

ke:anns!
ha:i dont get a hug too anns?
an:its annie to you.
ha:really? after so many years of friendship and relationship you wont even let me call you by your nickname?
an:not after what you did
ha:look, im sorry. i really didnt mean to.
an:your telling me you didnt mean to cheat on me for a month?
ha:thats exactly what im saying.
an:damn, maine made you stupid.
ha:if anything it made me have a new perspective on life. annie. im still in love with you. oh, and im moving back to attaway.
an:well tough for you because your not gonna be friends with us anymore. and i have a boyfriend.
ha:wow you really are a slut.
an:we broke up like 4 months ago hayden!
ha:yeah! and...?
an:im not gonna argue right now, especially with you.

i turn around and walk over to where asher is sitting and sit next to him again. minutes later hayden comes and sits next to me and i move closer to asher. lets just say that cycle continues until im sitting on the other side of asher and hayden is next to him. the rest of the bonfire was pretty quiet.

~exactly one week later~

its friday morning. you know what that means? FOOTBALL GAME TONIGHT! fridays are my favorite day of the week. why? you may ask. well, its the last day of the school week, school starts at 11:00, football games, and well its the start of the weekend. now back to reality. hayden officially moved back to attaway. today is his first day back and i couldnt dread it more. i wake up with hayleys flashlight in my eyes.

h$:wake up annie! its 9!
an:ugh, give me a minute.
h$:fine but you cant yell at me when your late.
an:yeah, yeah, whatever.

i literally roll out of my bed and get ready. my hair is curled and in a high ponytail today and im wearing my cheer uniform. i do light and natural makeup then go to school. school was super boring until lunch. at lunch i was sitting at the usual table when i notice hayden, anna, and jayden all sitting together. jayden left us for hayden and we think she has a crush on him. that was the only cool thing that happened throughout the day. my afternoon was pretty boring too. we dont know who we are playing until like 30 minutes before the game. its a thing attaway does. i have a love hate relationship with it. anyways its 30 minutes before the game starts. im standing where the cheerleaders cheer on my phone when kenzie runs up to me out of breath.

ke:you have to go find asher! he is missing and he is refusing to play the game!
an:what? why?
ke:its against his old school and he doesn't want to be seen as a betrayal to them.
an:tell coach kelly that i will be back before the pre-game performance.
ke:okay

i run around the football field trying to find asher. then i see all the football team come out except him. once everyone is out i sneak in and see asher sitting on one of the benches with all his gear on except the helmet.

an:ash, what are you doing?
as:i cant play the game.
an:why?
as:its against san francisco. i would be seen as a betrayal to them if we beat them and we wont beat them if im not playing.
an:asher, your gonna go and play that game. attaway is gonna beat san francisco and your gonna feel good about it. san francisco is your past. so what if your a betrayal there. but attaway is your present. and if you beat san francisco you will be a hero here. now. put your helmet on and go play that game!
as:i guess your right. thanks anns.
an:anytime. now come on.

i give him a quick peck on the lips and then grab his hand and drag him out of the locker room. he puts his helmet on and runs to the rest of the team and i run back to the cheerleaders. its just in time for the pregame performance.

ke:did you find him?
an:yeah, he is with the team right now.
ke:good.

we go out into the middle of the field and do our performance. after that we do the football tunnel and when asher goes through i give him a reassuring smile. we go back to the sidelines and cheer the rest of the game. well until half time at least. we did our halftime performance and then cheered the rest of the game.

asher angel
its the middle of the 3rd quarter. i get put in a play where im face to face with number 81. aka my ex bestfriend, jack grazer.

jg:i see your a betrayal.
as:hey, just because i move towns doesnt mean im gonna stop doing the thing i love and im good at. now. move so i can kick san franciscos ass.
jg:i would love to see you try
as:watch me.

the game was super successful. the score was 43 to 23 so we won by 20 points! after the game we all went to annies house to spend the night. i loved today so much.

the rest of the night was good for everyone. at annies they watched movies, played games, and hung out. just like the old times. but with new and better people.

(a/n: sorry if this chapter has bad spelling or grammar. but i just wanna say, all the comments on the last chapter made me so happy and actually inspired me to write this chapter right now. and i checked, im still #5 on ashannie and i never even though it was possible that i would have that happen to me!)
