Chapter 46-Lookin' fine

3 weeks later (I keep doing this but only baby stuffs happened!)

AVA'S POV

"Luke I need to go." I tell him but Luke won't budge. I just got dressed and Luke put his arms around my waist from behind and put his chin on my shoulder.

"When's your appointment?" Luke asks.

"In fifteen minutes." I reply. "I need to go and buy a dress Luke." I squirm and get out of his grip.

I run downstairs before he can get me. I reach the living room door where the guys, Roxy, Red, Em, Isabelle, Ashley, my mum and Tyler are. (I don't count Tyler as a guy really.)

I see a space in between Ash and Michael. I take this opportunity and jump in the space. I pretend to casually be texting as Luke comes down.

"Oh, um, great show. What's the show called?" I whisper the last part to Michael. He opens his mouth to speak but Luke says something.

"Haven't you got a fitting to go to?" Luke smirks.

"Right, yes. Come on girls, let's go." I say and get up.

The girls get up, including Tyler.

"Do you want me to take Isabelle?" Cal asks.

"She'll be safer with me. You guys will be drinking, so I'll bring her dress shopping. Say bye to Daddy." Em says but Isabelle moves into Emily's chest more.

"That's what I thought." Emily smirks and we call goodbye to the guys.

Ashley, Tyler, mum and I get out the car. Mum locks her car and we wait for Roxy to park her car next to us. Once they get out we cross the road we make our way into the wedding dress shop.

The bell rings as we enter. A woman about mums age comes up some stairs and smiles a real smile at us.

"Hi, welcome to Down The Isle wedding dresses. I'm Alice and you must be Mrs Irwin." Alice smiles and her and mum shake hands.

"Please, call me Sam. We're here for my daughter, Ava." mum introduces me and Alice and I shake hands.

"Hi Ava. My daughter Phoenix will help you with the dresses. Just pick any dresses you like and she'll help you get them on. So, what're you looking for?" Alice asks.

"Can I try a big dress and an empire waist one?" I reply.

"Oooh! You know the name. Yes, of course. I'll show you them." Alice says impressed and I pick out my favourite empire dress.

"Can you guys pick out a couple of dresses for me to try on?" I ask the others and they nod.

I go into the changing room and 5 minutes later the girl, Phoenix, comes in with the dresses.

"Hi, I'm Phoenix." Phoenix introduces herself.

"Hi Phoenix, I'm Ava." I smile.

"So, shall we start with the first dress." Phoenix asks. I nod and she helps me into the first dress.

"How old are you Ava?"

"I just turned 18." I answer Phoenix as she zips up the first dress on. 

"You're pretty young to get married, you must be perfect for each other." Phoenix says.

"Yeah." I chuckle. "We are." Phoenix stands back and I look at the dress in the mirror. It's pretty plain, there's a train, I hugs my top half but goes out at the bottom and the top dips in a v. I brush it down and turn around. Phoenix pulls the curtain aside and I walk out.
