*1 Week Later*
"Princess, it's time to get up! We have to get going so we won't be late for the cruise." I said softly and kissed her head. She quickly got out of bed and stretched. "Yay! I'm so excited!" I chuckled and brought the bags down to the car.
"Please. Tell me you really aren't going with that." I heard my moms voice. I clenched my jaw and turned to her. "I am going. With MY mate. You need to accept the fact that her and I are mates. And what happens between US. Has NOTHING to do with you." I went inside and talked to Ryder to make sure he had everything under control while I was gone.
"If you need help just call."
"Yes Alpha." Ryder spoke with such confidence. "Ready!" Nyx walked down the stairs and I smiled at her. My beautiful mate. I helped her down the last bit of the stairs and she smiled. "Thanks."
"No problem my love." Lily, Nyx's best friend hugged her tightly. "Have fun! I'll miss you!"
"We'll only be gone for a month." Nyx giggled.
"Yes.. but.. you've been gone for a long time.." Lily spoke with sadness.
"Come on princess it's time to go." I walked outside to the car and opened the passenger side door for her. She smiled. "Why thank you." She got in and I closed the door then went to the drivers side. I got in and drove off.
*3 HOURS LATER*
We finally got to the cruise. We picked our room and got settled. I looked for Nyx but she wasn't in the room. I quickly opened the door and she was leaning against the railing, the wind flowing through her hair. I admired her then hugged her from behind. She smiled and leaned against me. "It's beautiful." I nodded in agreement. "This is going to be the best" she smiled more and I kissed her head. "It sure is princess."
