Chapter 10

~Kutsui's POV~

Our cruise went by so fast. It was upsetting. I had so much fun and I know she did too. Nyx was at the pool for the last time before we left while I was packing. I wonder how things are going back home. I'm sure Ryder has it all under-control.

When we got back everything was perfectly fine until I smelled a rogue. Nyx smelt to it she growled and looked around. I looked at Ryder. "Ryder." I walked to him. Nyx followed.

"Is there a rogue here!?" I said as anger started to fill me. "Uh.. y..you see.." A girl I've never seen before walked up to Ryder. "B-baby..? Is.. everything alright..?" Nyx growled.

Ryder wrapped an arm around her. "Wait let me explain!" Nyx calmed down and smiled.  I looked at her. "He found his mate." She spoke with happiness. Ryder smiled. I looked at him and his mate then smiled. "Congrats Ryder."

He smiled and hugged us. I hugged back and so didn't Nyx. I'm really happy for him. "I have some Alpha duties to attend to I'll see you later princess." I kissed Nyx and went to my office.

~Nyx's POV~

"Nyx!" Ryder said. "How was your trip?" I smiled. "It was amazing!" He looked at his mate. "Baby I'll be right back I'm going to catch up with Nyx." She smiled and nodded. "Ok."

Ryder and I walked around the woods and went to our old favorite place as pups. We both sat down and I put my feet in the water. "Nyx?" I looked at him. "Hm?"
"How was the trip?" He asked once again. "It was amazing! We had so much fun!" I smiled and showed him my hand. "What it's just yo- no way! You guys are getting married!?!" He said happily.

I nodded smiling and he hugged me. I hugged back. "Congrats!"
"Thanks." I said smiling. "What else did you do there?"
"Well, we went swimming, shopping, spent time with each-other. Basically anything we could do to relax. Oh and." I got close to his ear telling him what we did. "Ok! I didn't need to know that part!" I laughed.

"Hey you asked!"
"Yeah but I don't want to know that stuff!" I laughed more. I looked at the water and got lost in thought. "Nyx?" He shook me a bit to get my attention. "Hm?" I didn't look at him.

"Is everything alright?" I looked down. "I...im pregnant.." His eyes widened in shock. "What! Congrats! Does he know!?"  I shook my head. "N-no.. I'm scared to tell him.. I'm not sure how he'll react.."
"Are you kidding! He'll be thrilled! You guys have always wanted kids!"
"I have yes.. but he could have changed his mind.."

Ryder sighed. "Telling him is something you need to do. He's the father for crying out loud." I nodded. "Alright.. I'll go tell him now.." I got up and went back to the pack house. I knocked on his office door. "Come in" I opened the door and smiled at him softly.

"Princess you know you don't need to knock."
"I know I just didn't know if you were too busy or not." He shook his head. "I'm never too busy for you." I smiled brightly. "Listen.. there's.. something I need to tell you.." He looked up at me. "What is it princess? Is everything alright?" I took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant.."
