~Kutsui's POV~
"Have you seen Nyx?" I asked my mother. "No darling. I haven't." I knew she was lying. I could tell. I went to our room and looked around. Most of her stuff was gone. I quickly searched the dresser. Her clothes were gone. I whimpered.
"RYDER!" I yelled as loud as I could. A few minutes later Ryder ran into the room. "Yes Kutsui?"
"Have you seen Nyx.." I looked at him, tears in my eyes. "Uh.." Ryder spoke with uneasiness. "Ryder!" My voice cracked. "Where is she!" Tears slipped from my eyes.
"S-she ran away."
"Why!"
"Your mother said you were using her.." I snarled. "Where did she go! I need to find her!" He gave me the address and I got in the car and drove off. Anger surged through me. She should know better! She knows damn well I love her! She let my mother get in her head! She shouldn't be treated this way. I growled and kept driving.
Once I got there I went to the door quickly and knocked. She opened the door and I hugged her tight. She slowly hugged back. "W..what are you... how did you..."
"Ryder.." I said softly. "Why didn't you tell me what my mother said to you!"
She didn't say anything. She just looked down. "I... because I thought she was right.."
"She's not! And she never will be! I want you! I want you forever! Please realize this..!" Tears fell from her eyes and I hugged her. "I'm sorry.." she said as her voice cracked. "Please come home.." I said hopefully. She nodded and we grabbed her stuff.
We got home and we went to our room, getting ready for bed. We laid down and went to sleep early.
I woke up and got dressed. I then went downstairs and to my mothers room. I knocked and she answered. "Hey darling" she put on a fake smile. I growled and slammed the door shut. "One more time! You disrespect her! You LIE to her! Make her feel like she isn't enough! Anything like that! And you will be kicked out do you understand me!" She lowered her head in submission. "Y-yes Alpha.."
I left the room and made breakfast for Nyx. 'I'm serious' I thought. 'one more time she gets in the way of me and my mate. She will be a rogue.'
