~Ryder's POV~
"Your in charge until we get back Ryder." Alpha said confidently. "I know you can do this. Just call me if you need any help." I nodded. "I will Alpha." I watched him get into his car and drive off with Nyx.
I remember like it was yesterday how we all became best friends. I smiled to myself and looked over at the woods where the pups were playing.
*FLASHBACK*
I was playing in wolf form and was tackling random wolves. I ended up tackling Kutsui and he pinned me. I giggled. "Hello!"
"Hi." He got up and sat down. "Wanna be fwends?" I asked excitedly. "Swre!" He smiled and we kept playing.
Suddenly this very pretty wolf pup ran up to us. "Hewwo!" She spoke softly. "Hi! I'm Rwyder! It's nice to meet ywu!" I said. "I'm Kutsui!"
"I-I'm N-Nyx." She said shyly. "Wanna be fwends with us!?" Kutsui said. "Yes!" She smiled and we all began to play. Ever sense that day we've been inseparable.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
It was the best time ever. Surprisingly we all stayed best friends. Kutsui and Nyx found out they were mates. I sighed. I haven't found mine yet.
*5 DAYS LATER*
"Ryder! A rogue has been spotted near the Southern Border!" Delta Ashton said quickly. "Round up all the best pack fighters! Now!" I shifted into my red wolf and ran towards the South Border.
Suddenly, a sweet smell of lavender and vanilla surrounded me. My mate must be around here somewhere! Ugh! I can't think about that right now! I need to take care of this rogue!
I saw the rogue and I tackled her. She didn't do anything just stayed there, looking up at me. I then realized, the smell of lavender and vanilla. Was coming from her.
