We were just about to pass a place called Newtown when I decided we should stop here for lunch. We've been on the road for four hours since leaving Blue Mountain Pack my home and pride. But it still lacks one thing its Luna my mate...
I was just finishing a phone call when we pulled up in front of a diner. According to my beta this was the best place to eat in town. As I got out and smelled the air around the diner I had to agree hometown cooking is the best even the guys agreed rubbing their bellies.
We walked in making a bell jingle above the door signaling who ever works the place of our arrival. I hear someone sing its a girl at the back cleaning a table she's good I must admit.
We took the first table and reached for the menus when I heard her approach I didn't look up until she spoke snapping my eyes to her locking with light brown eyes that id never think I'd see again my wolf almost broke free.She was staring at me but there was no recognition just awe and genuine attraction.
"Mate" I breath and all eyes fell to me after sending everyone a mind link to stay quite I spoke to her with I steady voice.
"Hi im Carson and these are my friends can you give us a moment Scarlet " I finished almost calling her Sélest.
She agrees leaving our table and is met by a girl hurrying from the back.I turned towards my Beta Jace who grins at me "Told ya you'll find Carson ". I was still frowning why didn't she recognize me but then again maybe this is a trick we soon order but im to distracted to eat.The guys even flirt with the girl who took over Scarled table. She must be on break I still felt her near she hasn't left the diner .
When she finally came outta the back almost passing us she smiled it was like dejavu I shook my head then got up and walked out I needed air.
Woo you must be so confused huh lol that's the plan wahaha (evil laugh)
