Chapter 13

It's been a week now since I was at the office where I have my internship , I spend the first two days getting over my hangover, getting sick every time food comes within 10m from me and then with my luck I somehow managed to get a fever and stayed in bed with a 39^C fever. Luckily I managed to work on some projects and send them over to my boss, who was impressed by my drive to work even when sick.
Jonah trying to make me forgive him made sure Daniel wouldn't bother me and honestly it was nice, nothing worrying about him. Daniel and Justin went to stay at Daniel's parents house for the week , while he tries to figure out with Justin's mum went but they will be back tonight. Josh is coming back tonight also so I'll be talking to him tomorrow about Daniel and well if he still wants to be with me.

I wake up earlier than usual , take a warm relaxing shower and get dressed. I make my way downstairs to get breakfast but to my surprise Gabbie was already awake and has made breakfast.

G- you haven't talked to me in a week
M- I'm aware of that

I grab a plate to put my cereal in, disappointment on Gabbies face.

G- I made you breakfast

I look at what she made , it was a plain Irish breakfast which I loved and she knew it.

M- ugh, fine!

A smile appears on her face as she hands me a plate full of food.

G- I really am sorry!
M- you have to tell me stuff!
G- I know but Daniel was a touchy subject and you never wanted to hear his name again

I think back to that period of time , the first few months after our breakup , I was a mess. I would cry at ever mention of Daniel and I missed half the shows the boys had in New York for the first half year just because I couldn't see his face.

M- I know... thank you
G- for what?
M- for protecting me.

I hug her as she breathes a breath of relief but suddenly someone comes into the kitchen.

Da- oh...sorry

He's about to turn around and leave but I stop him , surprising Gabbie , him and even myself.

M- it's okay , you don't have to leave.

He smiles and goes to the fridge , Justin follows him inside and looks at us. He hasn't seen me since the first day he came.

M- hello , I'm Morgan
Ju- I'm Justin , are you Dada's girlfriend?

I laugh and look at Daniel , his eyes wide.

Da- um..
M- no , I'm his friend.
Ju- you are really pretty
M- thank you.
D- come on Justin , let's go
M- it's okay, you two can stay , I'm going

I put my plate in the dishwasher and walk to the door but Gabbie stops me. She's pretty much laughing.

M- what?
G- Justin has his dads taste in women
M- ha ha , very funny

I laugh too but Justin was so adorable clearly his fathers son.
I get to work a bit early and head over to my bosses office. She's very happy to see me back and praises me for the work I've done.

Boss- Morgan, you know you have a very big talent?
M- thank you, but it's nothing.
Boss- I was having lunch with one of my colleagues and he loved your design of the winter coat and well he decided to buy a whole collection of your work
M- what!

She smiles.

Boss- so I'll give you a month , to come up with a brand new winter line of coats and well you'll receive 80% of the profits.
M- but...but I'm just an intern.
Boss- well we will see , maybe by the end of the month you'll be an employee instead

She smiles again as I say thank you and head of to my work space to start on this project. I couldn't believe my luck , maybe stuff was finally gonna turn out for the better.
