Chapter 14

The next morning , I get dressed up , give myself a motivational speech and head over to Josh's house. It was time to tell him the truth which I didn't want to do through phone but thinking about it now probably would've been easier.

I arrive at his house, but before I could knock on the door , it flings open and he hugs me tight.

J- Morgan! I've missed you!
M- me too

I smile. We head to the sofa , where we sit down and I take in a breathe. He looks at me worried as he holds my hand.

J- what's wrong?
M- um..I...um..cheated on you

His hand leaves mine and he moves further down the sofa , away from me.

J- what?
M- I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight , it was supposed to be our 5 year and 6 month anniversary and well he came home...
J- wait what?

Josh stops my speed talk , his face looks horrified and avoids eye contact with me.

J- him? As in Daniel?

I nod. Tears coming to both our eyes.

M- I'm sorry Josh
J- and what do you want to do now?
M- what?
J- are you two back together?
M- what! No! It was a moment of weakness
J- so it was only once?

I stare away which answers his question.

M- I'm sorry...I..Im gonna go then.
J- wait.

He grabs my wrist and pulls me back onto the couch.

J- I forgive you but I don't want you to live with  him under the same roof.
M- me too...
J- did something happen between you two after?
M- he has a child , that he had during our relationship or just after it.
J- wow, he really doesn't know how to treat you right.

I manage a smile as Josh moves closer to me. Taking my hand once again.

J- move in with me?

I look at him.

M- what?
J- well , It's a big house and a bit lonely
M- are you serious?

He nods.

M- yes! I'd love to.
J- great , you are moving in tomorrow!

I was right, things were getting better which I am very thankful for. I had this amazing project going that could bring me to another level in my career and an amazing boyfriend who forgave me for my mistakes and now we are moving in.

That evening , I arrive home and walk into the living room where Jonah and Gabbie were cuddled on one end of the sofa followed by a lonely corbyn since Christina left to go home and Jordan with his girlfriend. They all look at me , all looking curious because of the wide smile I had on my face.

Jo- what happened?
M- I'm moving out!
Jo- WHAT?!
M- Josh and I are moving in together

None of them know what happened between Daniel and I that night except Christina and Gabs (Jack's Gabriela) and Anna but they promised not to tell anyone else and so far they did an amazing job.

G- that's amazing!
M- I know!
Jo- are you sure though?
M- yeah I'm sure
Jo- isn't it too fast?
M- no Jonah , it isn't
Jo- does this have anything to do with Da...
Da- what did I miss?

I turn around and see Daniel walking in , his eyes straight away fall on me but he looks away just as fast.

G- Morgan is moving out!
D- what?

Now he was staring at me , but I look away and excuse myself. I walk up to my room and start packing some stuff, when there is a knock on the door...

???- can I come in?
