Chapter 27

Daniels POV
As I walk out of the Frantzich house , I get into my car and drive back home. When I arrive , I walk through the door and notice all my family sitting in the living room all watching a movie.

Keri- oh dani you are home!
Da- hey!
Jeff- come join us?
Da- sure...

I sit down beside my sister , who notices that somethint is wrong.

Anna- are you okay ?

I nod and continue watching the movie but my little sister is very stubborn and when she wants something she doesn't back down , so she takes my hand and leads me into the kitchen.

Da- what do you want?
Anna- what's wrong? Is it Morgan?
Da- it's always Morgan!
Anna- Daniel , you broke up with her years ago, just let it go!
Da- I love her , okay! I just can't let that go!
Anna- you did before so why can't you do it again?
Da- because I was stupid then and now I realised what I lost.

She's about to say something when the door bell rings. I go to open it and to my surprise it's Jonah.

Jo- where is she?
Da- who?
Jo- Morgan!
Da- I don't know...

He pushes past me , into my house causing so much noice that my whole family came to see what it was.

Jeff- Jonah?
Jo- hey Mr.S , have you seen Morgan?
Jeff- no , why is she missing?

Jonah looks me dead in the eye as he replies to my father.

Jo- yes...
Da- what?
Jo- she just stormed out and well no one knows where she went!
Anna- she's a big girl , she can handle herself!
Keri- ANNA!
Anna- what?
Keri- Jonah I'm sure she's okay , did you try calling her?
Jo- yes , she isn't answering.

While everyone is talking , I walk out of the house, jump into my car and start to drive. I know I knew her better than anyone , even her twin brother so it came easy to me that she's probably at her little hideout place up by the mountains where she always used to go to be alone. As I drive up to the little car park I see her car parked in the same place it has been parked for the last 7 years. So I park my car beside hers and start the hike up to her place.

Da- hey...

When I reached the hideout , I saw her , sitting in the same place as always looking down at the little town we called home before.

M- oh..hey...

She gets a bit startled but once she realises it's me , she motions for me to sit down.

M- so how'd you find me?
Da- well Jonah came over on an anger spree and well I coped on that you must have ran away here.
M- funny how you remember and my twin brother doesn't!
Da- is that why you ran away?
M- Jonah can get too much sometimes. It seems like all he cares about is himself and tries to control everything I do , like the one guy I've ever loved , he can't accept it and let me be happy , he has to go and ruin it and then say it's my fault.
Da- the one guy?

Morgans POV
I look at Daniel , who's staring at me right now.

Da- Morgan, you said one guy?
M- yes, one guy, I've only ever loved you!
Da- Morgan...I...
M- it's okay , I know you don't feel the same!

He suddenly stands up , kinda pissed off.

Da- what is it with you family ? Can't you see that I love you? I've always loved you and I always will love you!

I stand up , following his lead.

M- yeah , then why did you break up? I loved you and was willing to make the long distance work!
Da- I already told you...
M- yeah that you were stupid and all that crap!
Da- I do regret breaking up, and if you just let me fix it!
M- YOU...you already fixed enough , thanks

I start to walk away , the one place I could be alone has just been taken away from me , there was literally nothing in this town anymore.

Da-DON'T YOU WALK AWAY FROM THIS!
M- WHY? YOU WILL JUST BREAK UP WITH ME AGAIN AFTER YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT!

He looks a bit taken back.

Da- is that what you think of me?
M- let's be honest , we had a great relationship , you broke that off , then we hooked up and suddenly you want me again? I'm just one of those girls , you'll mess around with and then dump again.
Da- first of all, you aren't that girl , you never were and never will be , you are Morgan freakin Frantzich , the love of my life and it has always been that way , that's why we hooked up, I was hoping maybe we'd make it work!
M- yeah I thought that too but guess what there were more secrets!
Da- you mean Justin?

I don't reply , instead I just keep walking. Of course I mean Justin. He's a great boy and with all this time I got used to him and maybe even attached but the fact that Daniel must have cheated during our relationship for Justin to be born is too painful to talk about.

Da- for the hundredth time I didn't cheat!
M- that's what you keep saying!
Da- you wont let me explain!
M- I don't have time for this! I'm leaving for LA tomorrow first thing.
Da- what,?
