Jason's POV

Jason, himself, had forgotten that he was ADHD. But, now, it came back in full swing and he could always be seen tapping his foot or wringing his hands or shifting in his seat. He wasn't actively involved in any of the conversations. No matter how much he tried to have a bit of fun, he just couldn't get Reyna out of his mind. He only just heard snippets of their conversations like...

***

Percy: "My mom wasn't very keen on letting me go. She kept reminding me that I 'have a little sister to think about too, now' and-"

Annabeth : "And then I informed her that I was going and she was SO relieved that I couldn't even believe how much she doesn't trust Percy."

Percy : "it isn't my fault, I'm a demigod."

Annabeth : "Am I not a demigod?"

Percy : "Well, you're not her only son"

Annabeth : "No, I'm more like a daughter-"

***

Nico : "Solace, could you not?"

Will : "What am I doing?"

Nico : "Stop staring at me like.. like THAT"

Will : "Well, I can't help it if you're so gorgeous-"

***

Travis : *with an over innocent look on his face*"Oh no! Looks like I've spilled my juice all over Katie's shirt! You might want to change into your SPARE SHIRT Katie.*he runs and hides*

Katie : *after looking through her backpack* "TRAVIS! I KNOW YOU TOOK MY SPARE SHIRT AND IF YOU DON'T GIVE IT BACK TO ME RIGHT NOW-"

***

But, even though he heard the conversations, he didn't care much about any of them (except the one Nico and Will had, he was pretty happy about those two getting together). Percy had taken notice and, most probably, the others had too but no one confronted him about it. No one, except Percy (being the blunt, straightforward person that he is). The talk with Percy actually did him some good. Nobody knew about all this except Piper and Jason couldn't exactly talk to her about it. Her not being in the bus not even being half of the real reason, why. The whole conversation basically went like this...

Percy's POV

"Hey, what's up man? You seemed a little down lately. Is it because Piper didn't come?" He asked. It was night time on the first day of their trip and Percy wanted to confront him when nobody else would overhear.

Percy had seen that Jason was a bit distant from everybody else and he, wanting to know the reason behind it, asked him. Jason seemed to be contemplating whether or not to tell Percy the truth but, eventually, he gave in. "No, actually I.. erm.. broke up with Piper before leaving." Said he.

"Oh, if you don't mind me asking, then, why?" Said Percy, immediately concerned.

"It's.. Reyna.

"Juno - Hera, whatever - hadn't given me back all of my memories and I realized, just recently, that I love Reyna."

Percy, though a little taken aback by the straightforwardness (like seriously, that was his job), looked at him appraisingly because he had admitted his feelings with quite the amount assurance . It didn't just roll off his tongue, as though it were a very trivial thing but he didn't seem nervous or scared to say it, which Percy found... relieving. He didn't want Jason hurting her again.

He knew Reyna could protect herself quite well in battle. To be completely honest, Percy didn't think he could actually win a fight against that girl. But no one can protect someone, or be protected from, emotions. Feelings like hurt, sadness, guilt.

Percy looked Jason in the eye, sea green into sky blue. That's how they were, some say that they are really similar, yet if looked at closely, are completely different.

"Just try not to break her heart-" Percy had stop himself from saying, 'again'. "Alright?"

"Oh, and good luck." He added with a smile.

Jason's POV

Oh, I could use the luck, thought Jason. But, unfortunately, luck was not on his side. He wondered what wrong he'd done to Fortuna because, right now, all he felt was.. fear. Fear that he would mess it all up, again. Fear that he wouldn't be able to get Reyna back.

And the wait wasn't doing him any good, either. Honestly, it was killing him and he just couldn't wait to get to Camp Jupiter. Even if he made a fool of himself, at least he wouldn't have a high chance of getting an anxiety attack, as he did now. Unfortunately, for Jason, it took them a whole other day to get there and it seemed to be dragging on for him . At this moment, though, he was exiting the bus and the sunlight almost hurt his eyes after staying inside the bus for so long.

He breathed in a breath of fresh air and his eyes, almost immediately, started searching for a certain someone...

A/N : Sorry, exams. That's all I have to say. I'm leaving you at a suspense for now sooo...
