War And Death

My father ordered guards to positions. He ordered me and Twinkle and Mizu to get to the top of the castle to fight the dragons that were higher above.
Alex and Gene would fight downward together.

We reached the top of the castle, and a red cloud hung above us in the air. A giant green eye blinked at us, and we saw a mouth. Mizu shot an arrow at the eye, and we heard a cry. Twinkle flew up and slammed arrows into the dragon's body. As the tail flew down to me, I sliced it off. Mizu gave the dragon one last blow with her arrows. The dragon's body flew across the sky into a mountain. We saw many dragons. They flew across guards and fighters, blowing fire, water and ice. These dragons were all the same colours, but there was that one.

This dragon was black, with purple eyes and green lines at the tips of its tail and wings. On top of this dragon, a green lady sat on the back, her white eyes shot a poisonous look at me. It was Elvaria, the evil snake who came to threaten my mother and father. I gripped my sword, knowing this would be a big fight.

Mizu then tapped me on my shoulder, "I need to get something, I'll be right back."

She left, then I trembled. Without Mizu, I felt like I couldn't fight. Twinkle was shooting arrows everywhere, and I was just slicing my sword at their dead stomachs. I had to do something better.

I grabbed some used harpoons and threw them around, hoping I hit some dragons. Many dragons fell to the ground. I sighed in relief. Then I thought about my ice powers. I looked at my hands, and concentrated hard. I thought about sad and angry thoughts, like death. If my friends died, I would be gone. My powers strated working, and I shot icicles and frost at every dragon I saw.

I heard a gryphon cry, and I turned around. Mizu was flying on Zuzu with a giant sword. She flew around the dragons, slicing off their heads and wings and other limbs. I smiled, until it faded when I was hit by something.

I fell to the ground, hearing more war cries. I suddenly was picked up. I was thrown to the ground, into a pile of snow. I luckily didn't die, and got up, shaking. I looked up.

"Pathetic little girl!" A poisonous voice said. It was Elvaria. She had gotten off of her black dragon, holding a green sword with dust around it. She gripped the sword, but pointed it at her dragon, "finish her."

The dragon breathed in. I backed away quickly, trying to find where my  sword flew to. The dragon came closer to me. I heard Mizu scream my name, and I closed my eyes. I knew I was going to die.

All of a sudden, I got pushed away to somewhere. I opened my eyes quickly. The dragon had blown purple fire at someone. But who? I had no idea.

"No! You scaly buffoon!" Elvaria screeched.

I saw Alex and Gene run over to where the purple fire was blown at. They gasped. I saw Alex have some tears in his eyes. I saw Twinkle fly over and she screamed. Mizu flew with Zuzu.

"Ruby, you better come see this," Mizu called. Her face was disappointed, so I knew it was someone I knew well.

I slowly walked over. When I saw who got hit, I was shocked. My eyes widened. Tears filled them up.

"No, Alien," I whispered, "it can't be..."

Alien wasn't opening his eyes. I knew he was dead. I hugged Mizu tightly and cried hard.

Everyone was crying. Even Gene, who didn't cry ever.

Our friend, Alien, had risked his Life for me. And now he's dead. My tears got worser as I thought of it more. We all drew into a hug, remembering our sweet little Alien. We had been through so much with him. He was the reason that we were all friends. We definitely would never, ever forget him.

"Isn't that sweet?" Elvaria was watching us. I saw that her dragon was dead on the ground. She had her sword gripped in her hand. Her face frozen as poison.

I felt so furious. My tears stopped as I grabbed the biggest pipe I could find.

My mother then suddenly pushed me away, "I will take care of her."

"You?" The evil snake scoffed, "you weren't supposed to be the queen."

My mother glared at her, "you dare challenge me?"

A green aura spun around the woman. She turned into a snake. My mother through herself at her, attacking her with her sword. Alex and Gene got their swords ready incase they needed to back the queen up. Mizu and her gryphon Zuzu flew to fight more dragons. Twinkle and me stayed with Alien, incase he wasn't dead.

Almost every dragon was dead. My mother and Elvaria was throwing all their power at eachother. Suddenly, Elvaria grabbed her with her tail. I got up, getting ready to fight. My mother started choking. I grabbed Twinkle's bow, aiming an arrow at Elvaria. I saw my mother's eyes starting to close. I quickly grabbed the arrow, and thought of sad thoughts. Like Alien how he suddenly died, and how my dreams affected me. The arrow started turning to ice. I smirked. I out the arrow in the bow, and sent it straight into Elvaria's heart. She screeched. Her scream turned demonic, and her whole body flew up into the air. She suddenly disappeared. She was gone. I heard my father call guards, and they all gathered around my mother.

My sisters, Goldie and Silver, ran to the queen. They looked as if they was going to cry. I quickly ran over with my friends.

"Mother!" I cried, hugging her.

"Ruby," she said weakly, "I'm dying."

"Mother, don't die on me." My tears got bigger. I didn't want her to go.

"She's gone, because of you."

"I know..."

"Thank you, my daughter. She is finally dead. And our troubles are over. She'll never be back here ever again. What a quick war. But it was worth it. I love you."

I cried, "I love you too, mother."

My mother's eyes closed. A guard ran over, putting his hand onto her chest. He looked at my father with a painful look. My father got up, and his face looked unhappy. He breathed in and out, "Queen Asmethyst is... Gone."

Everyone turned quiet. Everyone looked at the ground. I got up and started crying. My father walked over to me and looked at me.

"Ruby," he started, "because of your mother's death, I will be retiring from being king," many people gasped, "I need someone to be the queen. Someone to look after the castle. Someone like you."

My eyes widened, "you mean...?"

"Yep."

Yeah... I'm not good with fighting scenes... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But hey, this book is almost done! Wow, I can't believe it...

I've never made such a big book xD well uh, cya guys I guess in the next chapter!

Also, sorry for killing Alien. I'm evil, I know...
