On the outskirts of Queens, NY, within lies rows of warehouses that house a range of items and merchandise for a variety of companies. One particular warehouse is home to one of the largest amounts of illegal merchandise including but not limited to guns, ammunition, and even deadly explosives. All belonging to a sinister man, the presumed soon-to-be leader of New York City, Sebastion Martinez.
Work began immediately after Sebastion arrived just hours earlier, landing at Westchester County Airport. His employers hauled shipments into their respective places while others worked on organizing the shipping numbers into their data forms. There was the sight of trucks backing into the loading docks while the back doors were unlocked to reveal endless amounts of a shipment coming all the way over from the Mexico Border.
Sebastion stood in the glory of it all, delighting himself with the thoughts of the gigantic revenue he will make off of it. The night was coming along well and that is exactly how Sebastion wanted it to be.
Meanwhile...
Just minutes away from Sebastion's base stood Ava and her crew members ready for a battle. This feud had gone on way too long between the families, and she will not stand for it any longer.
They had their matte black, bullet-proof vans loaded with armed crew members. Earlier on in the day, Ava stationed her best snipers on buildings high enough to oversee the docks. The remaining crew members began to occupy the box truck's cargo area. This way when the truck's cargo door opens after arriving at Sebastion's warehouse, they will begin to execute the plan further.
Ava just slowly paced back and forth, looking deep in thought while having a blank look on her face. Her arms were tightly crossed as she walked similarly to a soldier marching towards the battle. After all, she would soon walk towards the battle of the century.
"Ava?"
She broke out of her trance and turned to face who had summoned her.
"We're ready to execute the final phase. We should leave now."
She took a deep breath and nodded her head, following behind one of her crew members. As the rest of the crew got into the truck, Ava got into the SUV along with Dante and drove off.
The ride was rather calmer than expected. They strolled through the highway and into the deadbeat streets of Queens, NY. Looking upon the people working the night shift as they walked past the scaffolding on the sidewalk to get to the trains on time. Passing by churches where homeless people slept at the front doors, so they won't be bothered. It was a life like theirs that left Ava wondering how she would fit into today's society.
The full moon was the brightest it's been all month. It shined over the city, illuminating the enormous buildings enveloped in glass windows. A cool breeze combed through the air as they drove farther down to the pier. Typically, in this situation, most leaders would have a shrivel of doubt and worry but Ava didn't feel that way. She had been ready for this for so long that she knew she would return victorious.
She knew that the one thing that could make her work harder than anything or anyone else is, in fact, the guilt she holds over herself. She used her guilt as her fuel; the fuel that will pave her way through the night. Extreme measures were bound to be on a high tonight because everything will be on the line. Tonight will push Ava beyond her limits but these limitations are something she's willing to break through because she'll finally get what she's dreamed for; revenge.
...
An hour had passed since the unloading of the shipments began. Just as before, everything went smoothly but Sebastion's crew ran a little behind. Why? Osvaldo may have caused a slight mishap...
